How'd everyone do on the wire?
I scooped JJ Nelson in 2 leagues and added Chris Thompson in another. Nothing shiny but replaced some dead weight with those players
I was considering starting Buck Allen over Crowell last week and bailed on it last minute - turned out it would have been the right decision.
Now I have to make it again.. except now, Thompson is also in the mix.
Basically I need to choose 2 of these backs:
J. Rodgers @ MIN
Crowell @ IND
Buck Allen vs. JAX
C. Thompson vs. OAK
J. Mixon vs. GB
Not the prettiest group but I should be able to squeeze some points out of it.. I'm pretty loaded @ WR in this league (Green, Jordy, K. Allen, Theilen, JJ Nelson, Golladay) - obviously holding my breath on Jordy.. but I just need to figure out the best 2 plays here.
Leaning Rodgers/Allen as of now but also considering Thompson and Crowell might actually find a little room against IND, so..
Mixon's definitely a stash for now.
I feel like I can't bail on Crowell yet but the last 2 weeks he's just not getting me much bang for my buck. He hasn't really been involved in the pass game and the run game isn't working that well.
IND is a better matchup - but Allen got a lot of touches last week and Thompson also looks like his role is expanding a bit.
Trying to not get saddled with a 5 pt game from a RB spot.
Kelley was tearing up the Rams before leaving hurt.
Perine sucked.
the skins ran like 35 times.
Don't love the matchup but Martin is out 2 more games so the volume should be there and TB can stretch the field and keep teams from loading the box.
Am i crazy to be considering Devante Parker over Pryor? Because... jets?
What are your thoughts?

I'd probably play Cohen and Parker.
My WR's aren't doing too well, so I picked up Jason Witten off waivers. For a TE, he is racking up the targets and fantasy points. I can start him in one of my WR slots which is nice. At this time, would you start him ahead of T.Y. Hilton? Hilton has a nice match-up against the Browns. But that team is just not producing. The Cowboys are in Arizona, so it isn't exactly a good match-up.
What do you think? Thanks
Based soley on how bad our offense is playing you HAVE to start Philly D.

12 team PPR keeper.
I get Odell
For Marshawn Lynch
And Keenan Allen
My RB’s are Fornette, Cohen, Powell, Perkins, Sporles
This trade would clearly leave my already soft running back sitation even more bare but Odell could be a keeper consideration for next season since he’ll only count $20 against my cap next season while Keenan Allen was a $1 keeper for me. I’m torn since having Odell would be great but as we know the Giants offense is so bad right now and he isn’t 100% and would leave me thinner at RB.
I'm 2-0 so far.
My team:
QB: Big Ben, Luck (IR)
RB: Hunt, CJ Anderson, Dalvin Cook, Jacquizz Rodgers, Doug Martin
WR: Mike Evans, Jordy Nelson, Martavis Bryant, Cooper Cupp
TE: Charles Clay, Julius Thomas, Evan Engram
D: Steelers
K: Cairo Santos
Just picked up Trevor Siemian. Dropped Kenny Britt (Didn't realize Coleman got hurt).
I'm debating dropping Julius Thomas or Cooper Cupp.
Someone dropped Tyler Eifert, I put in a claim (dropping Julius Thomas).
WRs out there: Hurns, Kendal Wright, Britt
Also out there is the Eagles D.
The dilemma is, I have to wait a day or two for Eifert to clear and it might not go through. Should I instead drop Cupp for the Eifert claim and push the button on Hurns right now (dropping Julius Thomas)?

for this Sunday? Buck Allen or Ameer Abdullah at RB2 in a 0.5 ppr league?

Yea, I think they are a slightly better play but.... the Giants D is playing well too and the Eagles have a really young QB. If it's close between the two, I'd rather not start a defense against the Giants too just for me own enjoyment of watching the game. Ugh...
Cox and that DL against our OL? Assuming you get points for sacks, that's an easy call. Eli's probably good for at least one TO too.
JJ Nelson, Buck Allen, Bradford.
I only have 1 QB (Stafford) and 1 TE (Fleener), so I was considering Bradford or Njoku (Colts this week). instead of one of the others. I am pretty stacked at WR (Evans, Cooper, Jeffrey, Landry, Pryor, Watkins) and RB (Hunt, McCoy, CJ, Gillislee and Duke Johnson)
Anybody else I should be looking at? There are good players out there. Only a 10 team league and some lazy dudes, but the top guys are good and the taunting relentless.
My current WR's are:
Evans, Thomas, Hill, Cupp and Golladay
My current RB's are:
Freeman, Howard, Cohen, Mixon, Duke Johnson
So I'd take a hit at WR, but RB's would improve and I'd look to deal Howard and Cohen as a package deal.
I can start 3 WR's with my flex, and currently do, but could also start 3 RB's and probably would if I make this trade.
I'm thinking of putting a decent chunk of my FA budget towards him, but not too much. We're eventually going to score a few rushing TDs at some point this season (I hope), and he may be the guy getting them. Thoughts?

I wouldn't touch him right now. The Giants O has looked bad and he has never been particularly good. I don't think he's ever broke 50 yards in a game in his career or had a receiving TD. Not what I'd look for in fantasy. There is also the possibility that Marshall and Beckham will get bitchy if they aren't seeing ball. There HAVE to be better options.

I've seen reports that he may get more carries. I'm in a 14 team league where I had David Johnson and am therefore starved at RB. (To make matters worse, it was an auction draft where I paid for Johnson and then spent the bulk of my remaining money at WR.)

14-team leagues are rough, man. Here are the first 8 RBs I see on my waiver wire: Jalen Richard, Rex Burkhead, Malcolm Brown, Jalston Fowler, Jerick McKinnon, Tommy Bohanon, C.J. Ham, DeAndre Washington.
I didn't know who some of those people are before I looked at the list.

Fair enough. That is another world from what I am dealing with. I see you are trying to get ahead of the curve, but wouldn't you be better off waiting for someone to get hurt before you use your waiver $?
