played very well against the Chiefs in relief of Jaylen Watkins. He was often matched up against Hill, KC was definitely trying to exploit the matchup, and he was a big reason Hill was limited to 4 catches for 40 yards. He was physical and had some nice open field tackles, really limited Hill after the catch. Who knows how he'll pan out, but it's the kind of debut we'd be excited about were he wearing blue.
Because there is no run threat, linebackers are dropping into the underneath passing lanes. You have to throw it up and give the receivers a chance to make a play.
Establish the RUN!

We had a similar situation vs. (I think) Falcons or Carolina a couple years back and we kept running into the line for no gain
So even though this strategy was really ineffective, we should keep establishing the ineffective strategy?
Is that what's trying to be said there, because I'm having trouble understanding it?

^This. Eli will have no time to throw.
Pretty much. And that was the first thought that went through my head as well.
It's so sad that this was also my first thought
LOL. My exact thought too. I'm lighting candles for Eli this week.
I was thinking that.
