Anyone give Wonderful, Wonderful a listen yet? I’m digging some of the songs. They should take a while for me to get accustomed to. I felt the same way about Sam’s Town and that is my favorite album by them. Believe it or not, I saw them perform Run For Cover for the first time ever earlier this year at the Borgata. They’re one of my favorite live bands. I’m going to back-to-back shows in NYC and Philly in January.
Cant believe its been 5 years since Battleborn was released!
Yes
I haven't heard the album yet but I heard a few songs
I am trepeditious because after hearing "the man" I cringed
Kind of how I felt about Ministry. Loved With Sympathy, but their albums after that were good, just not my style.
Killers got more mainstream, Ministry got harder.
Ha, don’t be in fear to see a Killers concert. They put on a great live show and will do all of their hits, and other well known songs that isnt Mr. Brightside.
I saw them twice during the Sam's Town tour, about 3 weeks after the album came out. I saw RHCP two days before (two shows in a row) and then I saw the Killers in Spring 2007. Ah, to be young again.
Reminds me of Weezer with the Blue album and Pinkerton.
I ordered Wonderful Wonderful. Thought the single the man was laughably bad one of the worst songs ever (it's like a disco song) but it grew on me the more I heard it.
I hope the album is good.
Heard half the band was quitting though or at least not touring...
Sams town and day in age were two of my favorite tours
