It's funny how you when you get older you appreciate things more. For me one of those things is the music produced by Faith No More. What a great fucking band. I listen to them more now then I did when I was in school.
...I saw them in 2010 in an outdoor show in Brooklyn, it was fucking great. When they opened the GnR/Metallica show at Giants Stadium I missed half their set and always regretted it.
If you're not familiar with Mike Patton's other work outside of FNM -- and there's a metric shit ton of it -- do yourself a favor and do some fun exploration.
If you need recommendations, I'm glad to help. I just saw Dead Cross live last month, and Patton jumped into the crowd and landed about four feet to my right. It was an awesome show.

Angel Dust is a gift that keeps on giving, and I was at the first of those two Brooklyn shows in 2010. Which of the two were you at?
'Sol Invictus' was amazing. The musician tree that came from Mr Bungle is out of this world. Everyone should check out Secret Chiefs 3 as well. It's Trey Spruance's (guitarist on 'King for a Day') current band.

Secret Chiefs 3 opened for Dead Cross when I saw them last month. They were unreal.
And just over a week before that, I saw Trevor Dunn doing his avant garde shit in the East Village. 3/5ths of Bungle covered!

I could have guessed by your handle that you love Mike Patton's other work :)
Jesus wish I went to that one. Soundgarden on Louder than Love tour.
