Danny Kanell : 10/6/2017 4:13 pm
Backs to the wall but I have a good feeling today. CC vs Kluber. Done with work early. Beer already in hand. Let's go Yanks!

Pretty confident, after all these years, CC isn't lacking mental toughness

Huge loss for the Indians. Wow.

PaulBlakeTSU : 10/6/2017 5:44 pm : link
line drive up the middle, Didi makes the catch and tries to double up EE at second (as uppose to letting the ball drop and turning 2).

EE goes back to the bag and the side of his foot tags the side of the bag (his foot is flush with the side of the bag) but his whole body goes forward due to his momentum so he rolled his ankle laterally as bad as I've seen in baseball.
Typical trash fans
B in ALB : 10/6/2017 5:44 pm : link
With the Yankees suck change despite Didi doing absolutely nothing to cause that injury.

Every Cleveland pitch has to be a strike and every Yankees pitch a ball. Hate crowds like that.

No they're not. Stop it.
Anyway, gotta stop giving runs away
Greg from LI : 10/6/2017 5:46 pm : link
They gave away the fourth run last night (walk, two wild pitches, sac fly) and now today with an error, walk, and a hit batter. Make them earn it.
Ellsbury misses strike 3 by a several feet

thanks. Sucks for them
have to keep the pressure on Kluber
PaulBlakeTSU : 10/6/2017 5:47 pm : link
here. Tax him. Make him throw pitches.
Frazier with a single off the glove of Lindor

Fraser had better do something at the plate today
Greg from LI : 10/6/2017 5:48 pm : link

Frazier
B in ALB : 10/6/2017 5:51 pm : link
What the fuck are you doing?

Gimme Headcase. Enough of this mfer.
judge leads off next inning
micky : 10/6/2017 5:52 pm : link
.
That’s not a bad risk by Frazier
mfsd : 10/6/2017 5:52 pm : link
Judge gets a fresh count leading off next inning
how can you be
PaulBlakeTSU : 10/6/2017 5:52 pm : link
mad at Frazier for that? He was likely sent by the third base coach and Judge had 2 strikes on him against probably the best 2 strike pitcher in baseball.

Low risk, force the action and now Judge gets to come up with a fresh count next inning.

It was also a perfect throw by the catcher.

The guy at the plate has 52 home runs. Unless Frazier is 99.9% certain he's going to get that base, it's not a good idea. That's a good idea when Ellsbury is up.
I get that line of reasoning Paul
Greg from LI : 10/6/2017 5:55 pm : link
I'd still rather see Judge hitting with men on
better safe than sorry..better get pen up

He was way behind in the count. If he gets caught, he gets a fresh AB to lead off the next inning. Whatever. Not gonna debate it. This game is too stressful.
E-4

Judge
PaulBlakeTSU : 10/6/2017 5:57 pm : link
in a 2-2 count (and against Kluber) is different from Judge with a fresh count.

He had a 118 wRC+ at 2-2 which is still good, but he struck out 48% of the time in that situation.
This is fucking ridiculous
B in ALB : 10/6/2017 5:57 pm : link

correction
PaulBlakeTSU : 10/6/2017 6:00 pm : link
it was a 1-2 count.

Judge struck out 54% of the time wit ha wRC+ of 74 this season through 1-2 and he was going against the likely Cy Young winner.
Castro cannot
Kyle in NY : 10/6/2017 6:00 pm : link
be our 2B next season

And CC shouldn't have started this game
A major league 2B

CC has nothing
