2017 BBI Contribution Campaign Success - Matched Last Year

Eric from BBI : Admin : 10/7/2017 11:53 am
I want to thank everyone who so generously helped to support BBI and keep the website operational for at least one more year.

The 2017 campaign was only off $263 from last year.

As I mentioned at the conclusion of last year's campaign, it seems that the overwhelming support comes from the same people each year. When I have a valid e-mail address, I sent out thank-you notes to everyone. I did receive a few "error" messages from apparently invalid e-mails.

For everyone who helped out, thank you for your help. Without you, BBI would have ended years ago.

Thank you!

Also, I looked back through the various campaigns. There is a DIRECT correlation between how well the Giants perform and how well the campaign goes. The two best campaigns were 2008 and 2012 - right after both Super Bowls.
That's interesting..

When is the highest traffic each year? I'd assume draft night?

Yeah, I'm like 99.9% sure that draft night is by far the highest-traffic time for BBI. The hamster has a nice new wheel these days, but the site used to become almost entirely unresponsive around the times the Giants would make their picks because of the insane amount of traffic.
So, another reason to get rid of McAdoo?

With the sentiment that this was going to be a team making a legit playoff run and possible Super Bowl appearance. If the Giants got off to an early lead in the division with a few very winable games you might have gotten enough to hire a few new hampsters. Alas, it’s still a great place to apply bitter salve for the lost season.

Thanks for doing the work Eric!

Sean, the highest spikes are ALWAYS during the draft and the beginning of free agency. Never fails.

Mondays after games are always big too.
