our defense has been nothing like last years version. The offense did give the Giants leads late in the game these last three weeks 21-14 @ Philly, 23-22 @ Tampa and 22-20 Today. Just not their year!
it's less painful that we were 0-4 going in. After today the season would have fallen apart anyway with no WR and entering a stretch where we play 4 out of 5 games against teams coming off byes. We'd be toast but with Reese and McAdoo locks to return due to injury excuse. At least now we have a chance for a full house cleaning and a new era. Still sucks pretty bad but sometimes better just to hit bottom like The Fumble.
the ankle pandemic might save both Reese and MacAdoo's jobs. The Giants don't want to fire GM or HC. So the assistant coaches will again be purged. Gentleman probably will return in some capacity. And some scouts will be cashiered or moved around . The natural high-profile target is Ross.
