He knew we couldn't win this year and Mac didn't like what he saw of Davis Webb in camp ... so they agreed to tank this season, draft a better QB to replace Eli long term and build a better OL in 2018 thru free agency. Then coupled with a last place schedule, next year, possibly Eli's last would be the real run for the roses ... we all just need to be patient.
