I feel like it's all gravy from here. This team is so much fun to watch compared to the teams we've had for the past decade or so, even when we were really good. We have shown some serious character alresdy.

See I think this takes a lot of the game 2 debacle sting away. Even if we win there I think the Indians would have found a way to win a game here. Either way that will be far from the last memory we'll have of these playoffs.

I'm probably wrong, but I think something may be a little off with Kluber injury-wise. I sensed some amount of desperation in Tito's bullpen management tonight. More than I'd expect of a team who's downside is game 5 at home with their ace on the hill.

Home field is such a weapon in these games as well. Any negativity gets amplified and can fuck with confidence real quickly, even if it's just subconsciously. Wednesday night is going to be a mountain to climb and they may have to face Andrew Miller for 3 innings. Time to put on your pacing shoes.

Mook, you've said several times over the years that Girardi is a good manager. He's also a good guy. He fucked up Friday and he knows it. We were all emotional after that day but I would be worried about taking a step back with a new manager. The team plays hard for this guy. I'm not sure what the Yanks will do but I always worry that we can find the right guy to keep improving. My vote is to keep Girardi but I don't count.

He and Kahnle will be big pieces going forward.
