Sorry, didn't mean to offend you and I am not an expert it's just my opinion, but I strongly believe no team that needs a QB when faced with the option of selecting a franchise QB they love or an OL will take the OL.

Of course if there isn't a QB worthy you don't take EJ Manuel just to get a QB, that's a franchise altering pick, but my point was you don't have to use high draft picks on the OL before taking a franchise QB.

I did not mean to make it seem like I am an expert, that's just my opinion (and probably my writing style which I will make an effort to adjust in the future).

Trading up at the top of the draft can't be taken lightly, it's very expensive in terms of draft picks, you're talking probably half your picks and likely a premium pick in '19.

Not only that, not sure any of the QBs are going to be worth it.

Overly sensitive this weekend. Very tough to swallow the cost of season tickets when after only 2 home games the season feels lost. I totally agree with a franchise QB if one is available as they are rare to begin with and even rarer when we are picking which is not often in the top 10.Just wish this franchise put more value on OL and LB's.

How bout we see what Webb has 1st. Instead of wasting a pick on somebody who's gonna sit behind Eli for a couple of years.

he will sit behind Eli for 1 year, no more. It won't be a wasted pick. This has imploded, and I don't think some of you are up to speed here...It's over.They aren't going to build around a 37 year old QB. Eli is not playing to 40. Webb will not factor into the decision if they feel a QB is there.

and start the planning process for their new QB and then decide who they want and do whatever it takes to get the guy, I say this because we now know we simply cannot count on Eli anymore, he's shot as a pro QB and needs to do the franchise a favor and step down, this is a young mans game and Eli is obviously no longer young enough or able enough to play the game at the required level....

if a blue chipper you covet is staring you in the face in the top 5 next April.

The draft isn't about now, it's about the longer play.

but you've got to maximize the longer play with that draft pick, it's about the future. Eli is now.
