Maybe I missed something but does anyone else find it interesting that most of the griping, at least the stuff that has become public, is coming from the secondary, whether it's Apple complaining about the culture, Jenkins walking off the field on Sunday, DRC pitching a fit etc.. The secondary was supposed to be one of the strengths of the team. Something sure smells rotten
Spags is lucky McAdoo is getting all of the heat.
OBJ wasnt throwing him under the bus per se.
WE know the plays coming w/o playbooks.
Just letting people know how obvious our predictability is...which is NOT news.
We know what Vereen on the field means;
We know what Ellison on the left means;
And the shotgun draw, or the slant are coming.
etc.
He never had nonsensical behavior? Do you remember the clothes that Space Ghost would wear on the team bus? LOL
And who ISNT mad at the O?

Well, McAdoo got alk the credit last year when it was the D that got us to 11-5. So, to me, he needs to take this blame regardless of the coordinator. If he separates himself from the D then what good is he to this team with specials and the O underperforming for more than a year. Well, maybe the specials performed well last year but I don't remember. I do know that every aspect of this team is horrible.
MacHandleys feet . I don't think it has anything to do
with Spags ...
I told you Spags sucked years ago.
...because the Giants pass rush sucks, and that has undermined whatever coverage the DBs provided.

That's a very good point.
its disturbing... and we see the same thing on offense at times as well. Instead of Engram being a threat down the seam... hes doing a 5 yard hitch into crowded space... great idea.

Carl Banks said something similar on the radio earlier this week. He said for some reason it doesn't appear the defensive scheme is lining up with the type of players the Giants have - and he doesn't know why its changed so much from last year

When they rush 4, no one gets to the QB. Unless the DC calls a blitz, they hardly get any pass rush at all. The best criticism of the DC would be how people consistently get open when we drop 8 into coverage. Watching the Pats drop 8 into coverage, it seems like they have 15 men on the field. Nothing is open and the pass must be thrown short and people run in and gang tackle.
Can anyone answer this question? Were the reports of Jack Rabbit walking off just the name getting mixed up with DRC?

whole defense is dysfunctional right now.

Spags sure as hell took a bunch of the credit. The offense has gotten better in the last 3 games (Minus the loss of all our WRs), but the defense has regressed further.
