NFT: What's the deal with these Halloween candy commercials?

Pretty ...different...approach to the All Saints Eve holiday this year. They aired it during the Yankee game. It was odd, and then it was for ... Skittles?

but to me it seems like you're missing the point if you're trying to sell Snickers bars and the viewer thinks it's an ad for the next movie in the Saw series.
You lose all credibility bringing up Saw lol

That is exactly what I thought with the elevator one. Don't see how it makes anyone want to buy more candy though

spend money on marketing to remain top of mind. Yes they want you to buy their candy but the bigger win for them is people talking/sharing about their their brand.
