Tim Hardaway Jr. is guarded by Knicks rookie Damyean Dotson every day in practice. He's been impressed so far: "He's a football player," Hardaway Jr. said with a smile. ".... He's going to give you his all every single possession, strong, athletic, doesn't take anything from nobody…. It's tough scoring against him. He's kind of an aggravating defender. He gets his hands into the passing lanes, deflects the basketballs, really gets up into you when you have the ball in your hand and forces you to do things on his terms." Hardaway Jr. agreed when a reporter asked if Dotson reminded him of Iman Shumpert. The both have "grittiness, that desire to play defense and be good at it," he said. Said Dotson: "It's both ways, making Tim better and making me better at the same time… Every time I run up and down the court, I learn something new."
"great job"? That's a stretch.
when did he have foot issues?
After that is where things get sad... THjr 4.75 (#2 player on the team), high end backup/low end starter
#3 Courtney Lee (4.50)
video of him working on teardrops looks fine

getting slightly concerned with Frank's knee. Missed practice again.

Just seems like a lot of time missed for something they have been downplaying given the fact he had a sore knee back in June as well.

Jeff Hornacek doesn't seem optimistic about Frank Ntilikina and Kristaps Porzingis playing tomorrow.

begely says knicks cant tank, it will ruin the locker room
wish he would of said which one because guys like deandre jordan, robin lopez, aaron afflalo all said how great phil was in the meeting..

heard some horror stories about Phil in presentation situations with players – unprepared, just disorganized. And sometimes, he’d have Steve Mills in there, who’d try to re-direct him. But I know of a couple players who walked out of meetings in a couple different free-agent scenarios and, “Wow, that was Phil Jackson? That’s not how I imagined he’d be.”

Maybe he checked out last off-season.... the guys you named are 2 and 3 off-seasons ago.

“I’m unsure if I’m still on the team,” said Okafor, who recently started a vegan diet. “Am I really a part of this process? Am I really a part of this culture? That’s why the guys have been out there on social media, but I’ve just kind of been in the dark. I’ll go to a Sixers event, smile, take pictures with the kids and stuff like that, but I’m still thinking, ‘Am I a part of this team?’”
He already knows the answer — and he wants out of Philadelphia.
“Sometimes I do think it would be great to get a fresh start, be on a new team, new surroundings, new teammates. I think about that often and I think that’s something that could benefit me,” he said.
i dont see him getting minutes if kanter and willy still here, sounds like kanter will be the starter

I was mostly kidding but if they really want to give him away I wouldn't mind rolling the dice (especially because moving Lee makes sense anyway).

but you would really have to move kanter if you traded for okafor...
