that everyone on this board, and all Giants fans can adjust their expectations. I know we all came into the season thinking about how many wins this team would have. As much as it sucks this year is now about developing talent and cohesion. So if he has a big drop or tips a ball and it is picked off, take it easy. Know this experience will serve all these young players well, and the Giants.
Hilliard was one of my absolute favorite players when I was younger. The 99 season didn't go all that well, but watching Toomer and Hilliard that year was so exciting. It was probably the first time in my life that i really felt excited about NYG WR's.
I'm 32, so when I really started watching games religiously, I was subjected to Chris Calloway and Mike Sherrard. The Giants were really never a feared passing team during those mid 90's years.
Total sidebar... but that's where we're at with this season..
Everybody has. The problem is they were too few, and somebody missed a key play at the worst possible time.
Pick a player...any one..they all screwed up, big.
Considering that he'll be lining up against Chris Harris,

In '93, Sherrard was DAMNED good until he got hurt, actually. He and Simms had something going, but Sherrard got hurt, and wasn't as good when he came back.
I was going to note that Sherrard actually wasn't a bad player by any stretch - I liked him a lot. I was only like 9 or 10 years old around then. A buddy of mine had a Sherrard jersey actually.
He had a solid year for us in 94 if I remember right.
But still - no one was confusing the Giants with the 49ers in terms of passing attacks back then.
is if he plays he shows why he was a UDFA and falls far short of people's hopes for him in his first NFL game against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
"New" weapons on offense. Does Denver have any tape on these guys? We might be suprised here. What is Eagen becomes the next Edelman? Rudolph the next Hilliard or Cruz. No one knows and there is no tape for Denver to scheme against. We may suprise, or not.

Yeah, because there are Edelmans and Hilliards on every practice squad.
Remember what Red said.

My prediction, if he plays significant time (not 10 plays), he shows why he SHOULD have been on the roster. He is faster than you think, he gets open, and is on the same page as Eli. You don't have to be a burner to be effective. You just need to read the defense.
Of course there is the Von Miller effect, if Eli is on his back, then no passes get completed.

No. Not an NFL talent sven-jolly.
Just ... have seen some guys ... got a feeling about Rudolph.
Plus, good kid, and easy to root for in this unholiest of seasons.
ALL IN ON RUDOLPH!
