Is the best outcome. But if the Giants go 0-16 or even 1-15, which I find unfathomable, I will be sick. I want them to have the first pick, but not an 0-16 record.
We aren't talking about a young rebuilding team getting better each week. We are talking about a team who had self-proclaimed Super Bowl aspirations and are getting worse each week. This thing has already imploded. The Giants SF game might be our anti-Super Bowl.
Giants will find a way to win 2 or 3 games. They are not getting the #1 overall pick
1-15 got the first pick last season, but you had to go back to after the 2009 season for a record as bad as 1-15 (the Rams, who subsequently took Sam Bradford #1 overall).
3-13 in the 2015 season was bad enough to get the first overall pick in the 2016 draft.
From 2010 through the 2014 season the worst record in the NFL was 2-14.
3 wins probably doesn't get the Giants the first pick, but it's not out of the question.
The Giants will almost assuredly lose the next two games against the Broncos and Seahawks. Then it's Rams, Niners, Chiefs, Skins, Raiders, Cowboys, Eagles, Cardinals, and Skins again.
I think 2 wins are optimistic. We should all root for Cleveland, San Francisco, and San Diego.
Never have. Never will
NOTHING is guaranteed - even picking the perceived “best WB” in a draft
Other than that, I don't see a win. Not that they will not win but there isn't a game where they are going in favored.
Yeah, Browns and Niners should be 1-2.
Likely our only win, if they can.
