the other day about my lack of desire to go see a game in person. I used to love it. Now? Just turn on the TV.

Got the girl one row behind me to tap my shoulder -- I turned around and he said to me "hey man I'm trying to watch the game" as I stood during a commercial timeout. Shit you not.

I have to be the most Conscientious guy in the building. I never stand during a play unless I have to. I always wait for a play to end before I walk into an aisle. I'll even stay seated at times despite entire rows of people standing in front of me if I can sneak a sightline just so the fans behind me can still see. This fuckwad busts my chops for standing during a commercial.

with attending NFL games after going to the Tampa game. Bunch of drunks who can't handle their alcohol. You know, if the old guy looked bigger or tougher or younger, the motherfucker would have sat down when asked without a peep. I hope they make an example of him and he goes to prison for multiple years. Sometimes an example needs to be made and I would make it in this case.

I'm same way and have had to tell my kids to sit on some occasions when They stand too long which is anytime they stand when I am not standing.

had season tix 86-02. Never a problem. Same people every yr etc, watched kids grow up etc. Times have changed now...

I don't know, you'd get the occasional fight at the old stadium. When I had seats during the same time you did, cell phones videos weren't the norm.

You're right, though, you were friends with the people around you and it was usually a great time.

I used to find it an honor to be able to go to a game. Exhibition tickets given to me for years. Always a down in front statement as goo goo eyed people had not clue about fan etiquette. Root for your team but be conscientious of your fellow fans ! Those were great times. Regular season brought out the real fans and the same fans and their families. That era is as over as Eli's accuracy. Rude thoughtless me first people are all around. Third and a yard, Giants with the ball, 15 seconds on the play clock. Six guys and two girls just stand up and start for the concessions stand. NO CLUE there is a game going on. They are not season ticket holders, or even Giant fans in spite of their brand new jerseys. They were given their tickets by relatives or friends who just can't bring themselves to watch guys in blue who are not a team or coached by an NFL caliber coach. Even the stadium ushers see it. No beer , no cellphones , no fans. I and my cousin have 55,000 invested in a non interest bearing account called PSL. If we don't buy the season tickets, we loose the money. Six more tolerance bearing games to go. They don't care if we don't show up. They already have the money and are making interest in it every day.82,500 seats , maybe 66.000 psl's sold. Around 66 million to play with for the Giants and Jets. oops that's 132 million. then you have to calculate that they HAVE to buy the tickets. Somehow something is wrong with this picture. Sorry for the sketchy math but think before you consider buying any low priced psl's. Think about that 80 inch HDTV first. Fewer down in front's.
