I know that many of you don't like him , and I agree sometimes he's not the most creative guy , however he's being made to be a bad coach when he really isn't.
When there is an issue with a player , he's never exposed that personal conversation with the media. He's shown proper respect to each of his players.
As bad as its gotten being 0-5 , he's maintained him composure , and hasn't lost his emotions , like so many other players and coaches have. That's a sign of a guy who has self control.
I think he's gotten the team to play hard every week. The team has taken the lead in the 4th quarter the last 3 games , its just the Defense is giving it right back.
If the D holds we are 3-2 right now , instead of 0-5. I feel some of the blame needs to go to Spags.
I believe the 2 most significant differences this year , is #1 the schedule is ten times harder than last year , and #2 the Defense is a shell of what it was last year.
Obviously injuries right now have destroyed us.
But Last year we had a top 5 defense , only giving up 17 points a game , this year not even close.
That's the difference.
Your thoughts?
Stays on the sideline when Odell was injured, has Armstead address the team about the DRC issue. He's weak.
-He Who Shall Not Be Named
Both of those told me he is not fit for the job.
On the plus - DRC. He handled it instead of Reese or Mara, as it should be.
For me, the book is still out on him. If he can keep the team together and playing hard, he'll be back. If he can't, he is gone.
No joke, I don't watch preseason games so I don't know if he was already rocking it, but when I first saw that hairdo game 1.... I actually got a little nervous for the season...
We're 0-5, playing terribly on both sides of the ball, and he's lost the respect of many key players.
I miss Coughlin. A true leader, who always took 100% of the blame and criticism for the teams failures. And players always respected him, even when the team was losing.

This team is leaking like a sieve apparently your not reading
some of the comments the players are making maybe I am reading them wrong but it's looking like mutiny and players
might start to free lance and protect themselves .
Time will tell. If he turns around this mess he deserves to stay.
Reese has got to go, if we traded for another Tackle 2 weeks ago, McAdoo might still have a chance to salvage this thing.
A related question - who are this team's leaders, not Captains necessarily but the informal leaders?
Maybe Snacks, who else?
He might have had Armistead address the team due to a lack of locker room leadership. And, he might not have addressed the team himself because it is a disciplinary issue, between him and DRC.
Do you not know why it's called The Duke, or who The Duke is?
