...the stat gurus have the Knicks projected to win 30 games.

Seems a tad too high to me.

And a 19% chance of making the playoffs.

That seems high as well.

Between the Knicks and the Rangers, a cold hard winter in Gotham.

I'd tend to agree with you, though I have a biased fans opinion. If Lin can stay healthy I like their chances to win 35+ and maybe sneak into the playoffs. They won't beat the top teams in the east, but they should be able to play with the bottom half of the playoff teams

Just taking a quick glance, I'd go over on Wizards, Spurs, & Heat. I'd go under for Cavs, T'Wolves, & Bulls.

Knicks will win 24 games imo

Imo they might win 10-12 games if KP misses any stretch of time

Predictions at the extremes are always less accurate.

Warriors has to be lower because id the unpredictable nature of injuries.

Conversely the Knicks are higher because chances of other teams imploding is higher than we think
