It puts you in such a hole.. if I'm Astros I keep hitting that same spot.. do they adjust the strike box foe the batters size?
And even worse strike
RasputinPrime : 10/14/2017 5:17 pm : link
Given against didi

It's just pure ass. It ruins the game. What will it take for these fucking dumps to call it above the knee?
0-2 counts all fucking day.

Two best offenses in baseball
RasputinPrime : 10/14/2017 5:21 pm : link
Castrated by these umps.

They give free strikes. You don't ever see a strike called a ball.

They let catchers spoon pitchers every second pitch to ensure they don't miss any tactical opportunity. Are hitting coaches walking up to hitters between pitches?

As a baseball fan I'm fucking pissed about the failure to let the game play itself out. This is just not fun to watch.
think we can score a run?
Jints in Carolina : 10/14/2017 5:24 pm : link
because we're losing now.
it's a HR

Effort by judge
Game of inches
bceagle05 : 10/14/2017 5:25 pm : link
going their way through a game and a half.
Two things
Matt M. : 10/14/2017 5:26 pm : link
One, that was played terribly by Judge. Two, it doesn't matter if that ball would have been gone. The kid still reached over the wall and touched it in the field of play.
Another break that doesn't go our way...
Bchurch : 10/14/2017 5:26 pm : link
Unbelievable.
Jeffrey Maier 2.0 gets away with it
dpinzow : 10/14/2017 5:26 pm : link
1-0 Houston

Stu11 : 10/14/2017 5:26 pm : link
damnit!!!!!!!! the are the plays we are not. Headley hit a ball in the same spot it was an out. Not quite sure what Judge was doing there.
Reddick makes the play
section125 : 10/14/2017 5:26 pm : link
and Judge doesn't. Not his fault, but shows the breaks of the game.
Not a great series for Judge thus far.

Meant to say they are making the plays we are not.

They have gotten every break this series so far.. just the way it goes sometimes..we need some of that Yankees magic...
Man, everything going Houston's way.
Crispino : 10/14/2017 5:28 pm : link
Bad defense by Judge didn't help.
Judge
RasputinPrime : 10/14/2017 5:29 pm : link
Had farther to go playing a RHH. Still didn't go all out for it but not as easy a play as Redix
That's on Judge

It was a bad pitch. Left it up on 0-2 after breaking Correa's bat.

Nope today it's not about breaks...is about making plays and not making them.
A rally any time, guys.
bceagle05 : 10/14/2017 5:31 pm : link
Really, whenever ya want to get started.
And, even if they don't want to overrule the HR call
Matt M. : 10/14/2017 5:31 pm : link
why isn't the kid being escorted out? He interfered with a ball in play.
Razor close games like this
mfsd : 10/14/2017 5:31 pm : link
Magnify every play, decision, and pitch call. So far, Yanks are falling just short on all fronts...but still plenty close enough to turn this game and series around
...
christian : 10/14/2017 5:31 pm : link
I'm ultra-confused about that call.

The kid reached into field of play. Judge needed to smack into the kid to seal it I guess.

Of course nobody is saying we've lost at 1-0

Because the ball was over the wall and his glove was behind it.
Replay clearly shows he was not over the wall. Very good replays or Correa is out and the kid is gone.

And that's a fair point.
there was no Jeffrey Maier
PaulBlakeTSU : 10/14/2017 5:33 pm : link
here. It was a home run.

Headley's wasn't going over the wall.

Judge had more distance to cover and in a shorter time. Comparing them is foolish.
They ruled the ball was in the stands for a HR before the kid ...
Crispino : 10/14/2017 5:34 pm : link
touched it. And he didn't impede Judge. It's like catching any other ball in the stands.
Another ankle strike
mfsd : 10/14/2017 5:34 pm : link
called against Bird. Good fuck
Verlander is now getting

Judge
Steve in Greenwich : 10/14/2017 5:34 pm : link
Had a similarly hit homerun earlier in the year taken away because a fan interfered with the ball in play despite it easily going above the fence.

I disagree. The replays showed a ball that would have gone out, but the kid's glove was not behind the wall. It was out over the wall and in front of the wall.
We are swinging and missing pitches that are right down the

To be fair
mfsd : 10/14/2017 5:35 pm : link
Bird got 2 more hittable fastballs and missed them both. Yanks need to start hitting the ball

That's the thing. According to the rules, it doesn't matter what they think the ball would have done. It was touched in the field of play.
great AB Castro
