What a dumb rule. Darling 100% right. The change they made is awful.

You can block 3rd base, you can block 2nd base. But the catcher can't do it.

So dumb.

Catchers have been getting hurt for 100+ years, but g-d forbid a superstar get hurt - the rules must be changed!!
they need a safety base.

Bringing Lackey into that game instead of Wade Davis because it wasn't a save situation is a terrible move.

Don't forget he had a really questionable game 7 of the World Series and got bailed out
He's screwed up the bullpen through 7 playoff games

He can't trust anyone other than Davis, then doesn't use Davis when he needs to. They should've swept the Nats, but he uses Edwards instead of Montgomery against Harper.

should another umpire be allowed to overrule that. You can't review it and there's no way the other umpire saw that. And the replay shows he clearly didn't hit it. Absurd.
