He was flushed from the pocket and driven into the ground.
This was a "normal" QB injury.
A QB like Eli would have just gone down or throw it away. He's a scrambling QB and he has been injured running and scrambling before. Not sure what you're trying to say?

I'm not sure you even saw the play.
The vast majority of NFL QBs playing today would have been in the same or similar position Rodgers was -- he wasn't making like Michael Vick out there. Even immobile old Eli has been in it, somewhat. It was fairly routine, but with a shitty outcome.
This "See? Mobile QBs are bad!" crap makes no sense over it. You can shelve your Eli inferiority complex for another occasion.

Wow! Eli inferiority complex. Ok, douche bag. And yes, I did see the play. He has run thousands of times like that...it catches up to you.
but IMO the gay jokes are just as bad as the racial jokes and seemed to get tossed around a lot here. Aaron Rogers got stuck with that label because Brett Favre had an ego problem with the fact that the QB they drafted was ready to play.
What's worse is I still can't format a post with a quote in it.

I may be a douchebag, but it's still obvious why you're trying to stretch and twist yourself into a pretzel over it.
And yes, Rodgers has been in that situation plenty. So has even immobile guys like Brady and Rivers. Unless a QB never, ever, moves from his drop, every QB has.
all I ever wanted was a Brady vs Rodgers Super Bowl and it's looking like t will never happen. This year was as good as any for it to happpen but I guess that's that.

I'd normally agree, but in this case they're not attacking him or any gay person, they're mocking a scumbag poster who wanted the Giants to publicly out Rodgers for their own benefit and has claimed to have sources in the "midwestern gay club scene" or at least ones that tied Rodgers to it.

It happened twice. Except it was Eli
Well, no Rodgers no playoffs. Looks like a shegal - Pats SB! Â
in Geno Smith. I'd be willing to send him for a late rounder.
The Packers should think about this, even if Geno would still be the backup, because he's probably a better backup than whoever they have behind Hundley. The Giants should think about this because they're season's already basically lost, and they might as well move Davis Webb up the depth chart. The logic for Geno was that he could hold the fort if Eli went down for a few games. That's no longer relevant -- or won't be after the Giants lose in Denver tonight.
Not only hurts the Packers, but hurts the NFL as well. The last two seasons of the NFL have been bad, really bad football played. Those of you happy to lost Rogers, are really not thinking about the bigger picture. The NFL is putting a really bad product on the field and it its not looking to get better when Rogers, Manning, Brady are gone.

As the stranger that you call a "scumbag" on the Internet, I need to defend myself. I do have friends in the league and nfl agent circles who independently confirmed the "not so secret" life of Aaron Rodgers. What you fail to mention is that I was the one who said it was such a non-issue in 2017 that I doubt anyone would really care. The response to that thread was a mix of homophobia and sjw nonsense, and when I called them out on it and exposed the hypocrisy the BBI mob resorted to personal attacks and bullying, which apparently continue to this day. That type of response seems to permeate a lot of our lives today; when faced with facts and reason that expose hypocrisy then just yell and shout at the messenger to make it easier to sleep at night.
Lets not forget that....

I hope Beckham comes back fine. The other two assuredly will.

Losing Rodgers for the Pack means season is dead. Losing Eli for the Giants means the team continues to do what they do.
Not fair to Eli for you to put him in the same conversation as ARod

Ok but is Aaron Rodgers considered old? Should the Packers be looking for the QB of the future?
