Well, there is that.....not.
As I posted on another thread:

Geno is a better backup option for the Packers than whoever they have, and might end up being their starter. The Giants might as well move Davis Webb up to #2, as their season is already pretty much lost. So it could work.

What do you get for Geno? A conditional pick, probably.
have to think

Considering how he's suing the NFL, that's not likely a good bet.

to think each week I don't see threads that outdo the previous week's threads in stupidity.

Then I see this and shake my head.

How is he clearly a better option than anyone GB has it the packers failed to show any interest in smith? The guy was lucky to get a sniff from the Giants...
GB has a team that would contend for an NFC Championship...
EricJ : 10/15/2017 6:57 pm : link
losing Rodgers puts that in doubt. If GB does not want to give up on the season, they will need to sign someone who is good enough to navigate this team into the playoffs.

I would not be surprised to see just about anything...
hmmm

Sure.. keep thinking that owners are sitting around a table all agreeing not to sign the guy. Meanwhile, you have a team that needs a QB and they wont sign him because of peer pressure? LOL

Has indicated he will come out of retirement and not cry, if the Pack let him QB. I bet he actually thinks he has a shot.

Romo is an interesting option.
Who was the last Packers backup
Ten Ton Hammer : 10/16/2017 12:36 am : link
that had a great game when Rodgers was hurt and then got a big contract in Seattle? Seems like GB makes QBs in their system like an assembly line.
