just glad to have 0-16 off the table. We have no wide receivers until SS returns. And nobody is going to take us lightly after what happened tonight. 4-5 is unlikely.
Will be the best thing that could happen to this team. Really. What's 5-11, 6-10 going to get you. A worse draft pick. That's about it. At this point they need to be as high as possible in the 2018 draft
What the fuck is a #1 draft pick going to do? help us win a SB next year? I don't think so. We are not a team that needs a 3 or 4 year re-building scenario. Next MAN UP! .......sheesh tired of this bitching. If you ain't true blue stop posting alraeady

One could make the argument "true blue" would be wanting temporary failure to secure long term success. No one enjoys watching the team suck. Look at this season objectively right now: 1-5 w/o our best player who is literally needed to make this offense go. What's more realistic at this point: succeeding this year or focusing on securing either:
1. Arguably the best running back prospect since AP
2. Franchise QB
3. Really good LT
If the Giants sucking this year ends up giving us another championship window similar to Eli's, i will take it.
I've been watching Rosen, Darnold, Jackson and company
I don't see any one of them being worth it for us to tank the season for a Top 5 pick. If we do end up with a Top 5, Saquan Barkley is the guy. Eli's replacement is not amongst this year's college draft prospects.
A performance even better than tonight since the Seattle D will have the tape on our run game and TK and RL will need to step up and deflect coverage on EE.
Our D will have have to prep for a very mobile QB.
Hopefully tonight is the start of correcting some of the issues.
Screaming about how you have to take it one game at a time as though the posters on this website are the players or coaches and anything we say or speculate about has any tangible affect on outcome. So uncle Rico.
You better pray for a defensive touchdown each week
spy Wilson because he will take off and run. These mobile QBs have been very frustrating to the D. Keep him in the pocket where he's not as comfortable passing. Also will have to double Graham.
Their Oline is considered worse then ours and so we need to ensure we are stopping the run again this week and forcing them to pass. Defense needs to have another solid game because our Offense will barely be capable of passing and the ground fame will be a focus of theirs now too.

Couldn't agree more. Saquan Barkley would be my pick
FWIW. I think Mason Rudolph is the best QB in the country
matchup - better offensively than Denver, and they still have the core legion of boom in tact on defense.
giants will need to come out with the same intensity and chip on their shoulder and hope that seattle is a bit jet lagged.
Are they better than Denver offensively? I think they are struggling....and again, traveling to the East Coast should benefit us - although they are coming off their bye
week.
Defensively.....they are still good but Denver has been lights out.
Look, we caught Denver at the right time....they weren't ready to play but we took it to them and deserve props. That's the NFL.
I think a low scoring game, like 17-16, is going to be the type of game we see Sunday.
The point is, that team got lucky and strung a few together and at least have us a meaningful game at home in mid November against Dallas. Of course they lost it because they weren't that good but I'd like to see this team give itself that opportunity against KC.
The Seattle game is going to be the hard part but win that one, get a bye week, hopefully get Shepard back. We are totally capable of beaten no the Rams and the 49ers suck.
but seemed to indicate that Sullivan will call the plays from here out. If that's the case, I do think this team can make some noise or at least not sink ala 2003 or 2009.
Engram and the lunch pail WRs along with a committed hungry running game can do a good enough job with some luck. The defense will be key. If they can play angry and get guys like VErnon back this team will battle all year. I love the look of last night's team. I just wish it happened sooner.
But, they do have 3 winnable games and almost the entire NFC is mediocre or worse this year. 4-5 could make things interesting. But, the team has to take this one week at a time.
A meaningful November game would be nice.
We still have no wr's .
This. There are no big games at 1-5, 2-5 etc. We scored 16 offensive points. Let's just focus on win 2.

not unreasonable to think history repeats itself just a year later with another team.

No they weren't. Kansas City was 4-2 through six games last season.

It's unreasonable to think that history repeats itself for a team without its best playmaker.

4-5 with KC coming in is the goal.
I don't think we have an answer for that
getting to 5-5 and beating KC would be huge.

Take what you will from that.
