FFB Monday 10-16

I have a 28 point lead and my opponent still have Frank Gore and kicker Succop to go. Crossing my fingers on this one because I really need a win here.

In another league, I am down by 9 points and I have Demarco Murray going for me tonight. I am also rolling with NO defense at all in this matchup because I did not want to drop someone. So, if I win it will be while short handed.

but in typical fashion this year my opponent in one league I lost had:

Melvin Gordon
Le'Von Bell
Gronk
Cousins
Jarvis Landry
Chris Thompson
etc.

he even had one player, Ellington from AZ put up a 0 and he still scored the most in our league by about 60 points.

I looked at the schedule, so far I've played the high point total 5 out of 6 weeks.

I'm 2 - 4 with 2nd most points scored.

rough week, but am still in position to win this week.

and the Giants even won...yippee.

Fournette's injury scared me shitless but he seems fine.

I have Jordy in one and Adams in the other. The injury to Rodgers hurts anyone in my position but at least Adams got into the EZ.

Going forward I think I am going to have to play Chris Thompson over Adams in the PPR league.

Fun day to be a fan for the first time all year.

In my main league, I obliterated my opponent with a huge week across the board. My team is absolutely loaded in that league.

In the bbi league, I taught arc a lesson. He doesn't belong on the ff field with me! Unless his defense gets 40 pts, I should win that one easily too. Look out, my team is starting to come together.

I have Adrian Peterson in all of my leagues. Dude looked beastly. Could end up being a RB1 going forward. He will get tons of touches and I'm sure catch a few balls as he gets more comfortable.

the BBI league, up 9 with Rishard Matthews vs Moncrief.

Won my main league, moving to 4-2 after an 0-2 start.

Obviously Rodgers is a devastating injury.

Golden Tate will miss a few weeks. Fournette banged up, injury status unknown. Jameis Winston with a shoulder, they are calling it a sprain, availability unknown. Both of Denvers WR's got banged up, Thomas played through it, but was hobbled. Sanders might be looking at a few weeks. Tyreek Hill may have had a concussion.

Throw in Elliot's suspension that starts this week and there are some game changers thrown into the fold this week.

I have Cooper and Tate, If Cooper isn't p[laying well, Carr is, can't win there. Winston is the only QB I have. I picked up Tyrod Taylor as a FA last night as insurance if i can't land any waivers, Should I try and put a claim in for Fitzpatrick over Tyrod? Taylors second half schedule looks a lot easier.

I'm desperate for WR help though, Just dumped Moncrief, decided to roll witht he upside of Mike Williams and Corey Davis. Need one to pan out and hope Tate gets back quick. I have RB depth and TE depth (Freeman, Coleman, Mixon, Mack, Riddick, Ertz and Engram) any WR to target for this week?

LOL, yeah, I just need to hope for 8 FG's and a Walker injury.

Lost by 0.1 points- 102.6 to 102.5. Have Sefarian Jenkins so that awful call really pissed me off.

Also had Rivers. Lost because of his last 2 QB kneeldowns. Why do QB knees count as a rushing attempt?

Wait for wednesday when the corrections come out. I've seen close calls like this change due to corrections in the past.

I did move to 6-0 in one league by winning a game 115.45 to 115.40 thanks to ARod getting hurt.

I have Deshaun Watson and Ben Roethlisberger too.

I plan to start Ryan this week in New England and then unless Ryan is injured I plan to trade him to the former Rodgers owner who has no backup on his roster right now and the best QB's available in our league are McCown, Bortles, Keenum, Hoyer and Cutler.

The only other trade worthy players he has are Zeke Elliott and Devonta Freeman.

I'd love Freeman, but I wouldn't trade Freeman for Ryan so I doubt he does and same is true of Elliott and not sure I want Elliott while he's suspended.

I think that suspension could be re-shelved by the time I'm ready to trade Ryan.

Not really interested in Aaron Jones or Travis Kelce (like Kelce, but Engram and Reed are on my roster). Rest of my team is Gurley, Martin, AB, Cooks, Hill, Gore and Cobb.

Fall back is I could trade Ryan to him this week and start Ben, but I'd rather not. The Patriots have allowed an NFL record 5 straight 300 yard passers.

But ended up winning on Siemian's last pass in garbage time to Booker that went for 29 yards. (I own Russell Wilson who was bye). I won by .66 points. Now just hoping there aren't any stat adjustments midweek.

He was a great buy low candidate last week, but he had a great week this week. He's still the #1 guy, but he was battling a knee that he seems to be over. With no Olsen, Banjamin is the only guy I'd want on Carolina. If I'm you, I do that trade. If I'm the other guy, maybe not depending on his roster.

tried to trade Hyde for Hilton and got shot down. Won thanks to Hyde's 2 TDs and Hilton disappearing.
