If we could get Sterling back in the lineup it would give Eli another legitimate target besides Engram. We could really use him vs. Seattle this Sunday. What is his current status?
But DCs aren't going to lose sleep trying to figure out how to defend him. What would be big, is if one of the young/raw speedsters would suddenly awaken into something special; like Cruz did some years back. Its a pipe dream I know.
With Eli continuing to throw high exposing wr's to injury the Giants Â
I am very interested to see what he can do being the #1 WR target. This offense can succeed with Shep and Engram moving the chains, Lewis as the deep-threat and a solid running game.
I don't think we see him against Seattle. And even if he plays, how effective will he be?
I think getting Vernon back is more important. Their offensive line is no better than ours but they are good enough to block Kerry Wynn, no problem.
But probably after the bye.
Not saying we're good enough to get to 8-8 but it's not like we need to go undefeated the rest of the season
