Is Pugh a RT or a LG. I keep hearing guard is his best position but I'm not sure that's true. Also resigning him, not Richburg should be the focus. Although I believe Jones playing well and his injuries may help us keep both if the Giants want to. Idk why but I always had this feeling he(Pugh) would end up in Philly. He grew up a huge Eagles fan and all his friends still are. Seems to me like the kind of guy that would want to make the dream of playing for his favorite team come true. Hope I'm wrong cause I def want him back
2. Who do they sign through FAs?
3. Who do they draft?
When those three questions are answered then you put the best combination of 5 out there, in the positions that put the team in the best position to win.
It's still harder to find a good T than G, so the Giants should really stay looking at him as a RT. Perhaps they never should have moved him in the first place (it's not like he was getting shamed there when healthy pre-move).

The game he played in Philly against Conor Barwin was the worst game ive seen from a OT maybe ever. That said, i think it was an outlier - especially how well he's played there this season

They aren't going to pay big money for a FA this offseason there, no matter how big of a fan he grew up as.

Every player can have one bad game though and god knows the Eagles have made fools of plenty Giants over the years in those sample sizes. I was talking overall -- he was, at absolute worst, an average RT when healthy and flashed more than that.
They moved him, chasing the idea that he could be great at guard and they could find a warm body at RT to make up for it, and it didn't pay off. He's been good at guard, again when healthy, but RT became a wasteland.
Pugh should be paid as a RT, and whats beautiful about him is his versatility. He can play RT if he is the best on the roster there, or can play R or L guard, shit, even LT in a pinch. A lot like David Diehl.
And shit, the way this coaching staff sat on Fluker, like he couldnt play in the NFL, I wouldnt doubt if Fluker would be pretty solid at RT if the line would be better with him there and Pugh at either G position. Gotta replace Jerry. Shouldn't be that hard.
Hopefully fluker and Flowers continue to grow.
Let Richburg walk and look for a center and left guard next offseason.
Comfort level is here as he has family/friends in the Philly area and not sure of Philly's OL situation but if Eagleswould pay him and have a spot he gets to go home for a team on the rise
We could have only Flowers and Jerry under contract I believe for next year so hope we can keep him at RT and resign him but we also have to make some decisions about OBJ , Richburg etc....
Are they seeing either Wheeler or Bis making large strides for a starter role and where...and...
What their plan for Flowers is...LT/ RG?
And of course FA and draft intent.
And the above are mutually inclusive.
But WR has to go or become a G somehow.
