Wonder what the NFL record is for least completed passes to WR's for a winning team.
Eli's 19 pass attempts

Actually, he was 7-15 in Week 16 against Buffalo in 2007.
Alex Smith has been on a few winning teams in his career

In the NFC Championship game, Alex Smith only completed 1 pass to a Wide Reciever, and that was on the last give up play of regulation.
Alex Smith went a whole season

without a TD pass to a WR. That's amazing.
In 1973 the Dolphins won a game 44-23 over NE

and Bob Griese only went 8-12 for 53 yards....because they ran for 301 yards. Only three of the eight receptions were by a WR.
My guess would be 0

Winning a game without completing a pass to a WR must have been done and done more than once.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Rexy-Nacho Jets

have done it.
Ground and Pound and all that.
I am sure there have been some bad weather games

Holy shit, that's unreal! Can't believe I missed that at the time, and had never heard of it since.
Nine passes....

...but four of them were touchdowns.
He also completed only 7-14 for 90 yards in the NFC title game against Washington.
Jeff Hostetler was 10-17, 112, 2 TDs in the 31-3 playoff win over the Bears in 1990.
Modern day NFL - Tebow threw 8 passes for a victory

and a 100 passer rating!
Side note -
Cleveland Browns back in 1950 won a game without attempting a pass.
Everyone is so concerned with his stats

Stats are so misleading sometimes.
A poor defense often means bloated stats for a QB while the wco bloats comp percentageZ.
Thought Eli had a pretty good game yesterday
