You do realize that FF, like all forms of gambling is the Devil's work!
It is it is....

At the same time, I'm in too deep lol.

Question - in a .5 PPR league, would you trade Cooper for Devin Funcuess?

Yea I know, I know - crazy. But Cooper hasn't been a 0 all season and doesn't even receive targets anymore. Both have a fairly easy schedule rest of the year with a slight edge to Funchess.

Thoughts?

in "regular" fantasy football. After a couple of years of inactivity I decided to give it another shot. After the first couple of weeks, I got bored with it.

Those same day fantasy football sites - might as well go to a bookie and bet on games.

Johnny the fiddle player begs to differ and he's got a fiddle of gold to prove it.

The Devil, that son of a bitch, was told never to return to Georgia.

Also, Jabez Stone knows the devil too, and he traded his soul to the Devil for 7 years of prosperity farming. Daniel Webster had to take the Devil to court to win back Jabez's soul once Jabez reconsidered and really didn't want to sell his soul.

So, I think you should probably recant this wildly ridiculous post.

Shoot, you know what? I forgot that Helen Boucher also said that foosball is for the devil. So it looks like we're all screwed.

Also true, plus the devil has you right where he wants you:

Just ask Keyser Söze

Is this our fantasy football thread for Tuesday?
allstarjim : 10/17/2017 3:10 pm : link
Well, I did well over the weekend. I only lost in 1 league, and in that league I was 4-1 so I could "afford" a loss. In my "must-win" matchups, I went 2-0, and overall went 5-1 this weekend in all leagues.

Even better, was that my patience with Derrick Henry may be paying off. Of course I didn't play him, but I can only hope that he has moved ahead of Demarco Murray as the lead back in Tennessee. If that is the case, it is a huge boost to my keeper team.

Additionally, Jay Ajayi and Jordan Howard had huge rushing totals. Was really pleased with Ajayi, who I bought low on in a trade prior to week 5's games. Looking for him to continue to perform against the Jets this week, who continue to cede yards to RBs, having allowed almost a thousand yards from scrimmage to RBs already this year. In week 6, Dion Lewis, Mike Gillislee, and James White combined for 119 yards rushing on 24 carries (4.96 per), and a TD, while James White added another 22 yards through the air.

On the negative side, I still have no idea of what do make of Terrelle Pryor. Just 3 catches for 23 yards. Last week I traded for him as a buy-low guy. He obviously has talent, but in the game against San Francisco, Kirk Cousins simply threw the ball to everyone, completing passes to 9 different receivers out of his 25 completions. Pryor actually tied for the team lead in targets with 5, but it was a tie with 4 other receivers - Chris Thompson, Ryan Grant, Jamison Crowder, and Jordan Reed being the others.

So, I will just wait longer for Cousins to start going to him more, which I think will eventually happen...I hope. And can I mention that out of the two TDs that Cousins threw, they were to none of those guys mentioned above. Cousins simply hates our fantasy teams, throwing TD strikes to Samaje Perine and Josh Doctson. Seriously?

The other major disappointment was Marlon Mack...if you acquired or were already holding Mack, you had to be encouraged by his 9 carry, 91 yard outburst last week. So what does Pagano do this week? 2 carries. And on the first one, runs it for 22 yards. Which apparently entitled Mack to exactly one additional carry, in which he lost 4. What is Pagano and OC Rod Chudzinski doing? Mack is clearly the most talented RB on that team, and you continue to refuse to play him, and oh by the way, YOU LOST. Give Mack the ball! This is actually a situation to watch, as Turbin got hurt with under 3 minutes to play in the game. So Mack may be in line for more work regardless, but until they show a commitment to get Mack the ball, you can't trust him.

Big week 7 story will be...who the heck is going to tote it for the Cowboys if Ezekiel Elliott loses his appeal and request for injuction. I went hard for Alfred Morris, adding him in every league as I was quick to the free agency pile once Elliott's suspension was reinstated. But it could be McFadden this week. Very friendly matchup awaits vs the 49ers, who have allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to RBs this season.

I played Jerrick McKinnon this week, who I said was a solid RB1 for Sunday's matchup against Green Bay. And he responded with 19.9 fantasy points, the 6th highest total of the week. He also has a tremendous matchup against the Ravens this week, who have been shredded on the ground this season, and who Jordan Howard tore up for 36 carries and 170 yards. Cohen didn't fare quite as well, however, with 14 carries for only 32 yards. I'd roll with McKinnon again unless you are incredibly deep with lots of great options, but you know stopping the run is going to be a HUGE point of emphasis and a point of pride for the Ravens defense this week, so I'd be lying if I said I felt really confident about McKinnon continuing the trend. With Case Keenum likely to be under center again, it's a safe bet that John Harbaugh and DC Dean Pees are going to gameplan heavily to stop McKinnon.

I'm sad to say, no Deshaun Watson in week 7 as Houston is on bye. I will miss him greatly. See you in week 8, Deshaun, and thank you for transforming my fantasy teams into playoff contenders almost single-handedly. I heart you, Deshaun.
What's everyone's thoughts on Agholor?
Miami_JintsFan : 10/17/2017 4:32 pm : link
Maybe WR2 or Flex in standard? Also, I have Tate who may miss a few weeks and Jones available. Should I prioritize ahead of Agholor?
I think you have to
allstarjim : 10/17/2017 4:45 pm : link
Play him with what that offense is doing. I gave up on him too soon and now am going to try and get him back but we'll see. He's a bye week filler for your #2 WR or a decent flex.

Thanks for replying. Are you talking about Jones or Agholor?
