The only thing I disagree with is part of your Beckham assessment.
Does he love the spotlight, I think that is undeniable. But by all accounts, he is a team guy according to his teammates and coaches, and is probably the hardest working player on the team. I also don't think Eli concerns himself with how many touches obj, Shepherd, or Marshall are getting. But I completely agree with you that OBJ is young and in 3-5 years you will likely see a very different young man.
I think the other points you raised were dead on. It was smart to give Sullivan the play calling duties. He knows Eli the best, he is more committed to the run, and he puts Eli under center more. It was a return to ball control and balance, and it was good football to watch.
I just think this narrative starting from the fans that the team will be better without obj is a false one. The team was better because of great defense, a better scheme on offense, and a solid run game. When the other team can't run, and you can, and when they turn the ball over and you don't, you're going to win more than you lose.
