Thanks in advance everyone.
I am in a 12 team PPR league which starts a flex player. What do you think of this trade offer?
I receive:
Evan Engram
Alvin Kamara
Thomas Rawls
I give up:
Jordan Reed
Ty Montgomery
Aaron Jones
James White
Would you make this deal if you were me?
And if/when Montgomery comes back healthy you lose in a bigger way.

This is more proof that you should make this trade.
Kamara is a legit RB2 with the potential to run for 100 yards and/or catch 7-9 balls a game.

potential for perhaps, but he's never had a 100 yard game in fact he's only even gotten 10 carries once.
I like Kamara, but I like Montgomery more and he's actually the best player in the trade when healthy.
Plus, without Rodgers Montgomery has more value not less IMO.
In a keeper league Kamara may have more value, but for 2017 I'm not so sure.
2. No way does Montgomery have more value without Rodgers when teams don't have to respect the greatest passing game in the NFL.
3. Did I mention that you are nuts?
Peterson was traded and look at Mark Ingram, not Kamara as the main beneficiary.
Kamara got the touches he did because the game was a blowout (though Payton almost blew it).
Ingram will still be the goal line back and the 2 down back for most games.
Engram & Kamara for Reed, Jones and Montgomery.
Drop the swap of White for Rawls.
Your opponent doesn't care that much about White anyway, not enough to kill this deal, and you are losing on that swap by giving up White, when it's completely unnecessary.
And stick to your guns on that, because he will do the deal without getting back White. This is a negotiation...don't overpay needlessly.
Yes, I would do the deal to get Kamara. But you know who your opponent really wants? It's Jones and Montgomery. That's who he wants. All the other stuff is window dressing, so leverage that against him, and for goodness sake don't do a deal including his roster trash (Rawls).
see, I told you we agree a lot!
Yes.
Receive. Brady/kamara/John brown
I have a trade that I am ready to pull he trigger in but want advice on. Full PPR. Ertz and my 7th rd pick for Landry and his 8th. I have Engram at TE as well and can just roll with him the rest of the year. My WR are Tate, Cooper, Corey Davis and Mike Williams , Ouch! I had to drop Moncrief as luck is likely done for the year. Although I'm loaded at RB with Freeman, Coleman, Mixon, Riddick and Mack. Winston is my QB and grabbed Taylor for this week if Winston can't go. Do I do the trade or stick with Ertz?

Jay, you need to get more back to give up Freeman. I'd need a better WR than John Brown to make that deal. On the level of a Keenan Allen.

Question, can you play an extra TE in your flex? Either way I wouldn't advocate for this deal. I think Ertz may finish the year as the TE1 overall. Landry doesn't bring back that value, and yet you seem to be giving up the better pick. Makes no sense. Even in full point PPR, Landry is a WR2 thus far in a struggling offense and a run-oriented one. I get Ertz has played one more game than Landry, but he has only 4 fewer receptions and about 20 or so more fantasy points on account of his much higher yards per reception and TDs. Ertz needs to be looked at on your team like a top 5 WR, because that's the value he's bringing right now. He's Wentz's top target and if he were a WR he'd rank 5th in fantasy and PPR. Landry would be ranked 18 (currently 17). When you look at it that way, would you do that deal? And no, I wouldn't trust Engram to replicate those numbers, but ideally you can play both Ertz and Engram. If not, you ha e a good backup in Engram and bye week replacement. You might counter with Landry for Engram and the swap of draft picks, but I think if you do this deal you are really screwing yourself.
Freeman>>Kamara
but
Brady>>>>Brees
I think it's a pretty fair trade. I know Kamara doesn't have the name recognition, but he's going to put up similar numbers to Freeman, maybe slightly less, IMO. Brady will be better than Brees.
I had Carson Palmer and Ben.
Gave up Ben and Aaron Jones to receive Wilson so now I have Wilson and Palmer. Yeah there is the potential for Jones to get a lot of work now that Rodgers is gone. My other RBs are Melvin Gordon, Hyde, D Henry, Tevin Coleman and Mack. It is looking like Henry is due for more work moving forward too.
Wilson at the Giants
or
Palmer at the Rams?
Get Sanu. Look at how many receivers are inconsistent. You have a consistent performer already in Ertz. There is a big drop off very quickly at the tight end position, and that scarcity means you have a great weekly advantage. With WR, most every team is struggling.
Mix and match, work the waiver wire, and you'll be better off in the long run than moving Ertz. The number 11 overall fantasy WR in PPR is Golden Tate, and he isn't that great, either.

Palmer.
Other WR Options on the wire, J.Matthews coming back this week with a great 2nd half schedule (alas its the bills though), R.Woods, or K.Stills with Parker still banged up may be alright.
How would you rank them PPR, btw i already have Freeman and Coleman on the Falcons, not sure its best to put all my eggs into one basket.
I have Corey Davis in my IR slot, I could drop T.Taylor at QB if Winston is good to go this weekend and hold onto Williams, I want to keep Riddick as if Tate misses time Riddick's value goes up as they use him in the slot.
He's missed so much time as a rookie and then has Allen, Williams, Gordon, Henry even Gates and Benjamin as options.
He'll eventually get on the field, and might make some plays, but especially during the bye week stretch most leagues I'm in don't allow the luxury of keeping someone like Williams on a roster.
Need people who can produce on the bench, i can't wait with my depleted WR core. Williams makes sense to get rid of with all the weapons that need to be fed already there. Plus, he is a rookie coming back from a serious injury, I see them slowly bringing him on.
So who out of Sanu, Stills, Matthews, Woods would you roll with this week in PPR? I could even roll the dice on Zay Jones hoping he has corrected his play over the bye week. I have a feeling the Bills will want to get their receivers more involved.

I think Sanu or Woods will get the most targets.
fair trade or heavily lopsided?
as a rookie he had a ton of drops then last year looked like he solved the problem.
but it's come back this year. He isn't getting the targets, and maybe it's related, but that concerns me.
Crabtree is a legit weapon, but I don't trust anyone else on that team for fantasy purposes right now. Lynch is on my bench.
The Jags secondary is excellent - and Hilton has been extremely boom or bust. Over the past month, he's gone back and forth between huge games and absolute trash.
I have Jordan Reed and Engram - I may start both of them and leave Hilton on my bench.
Alex Smith @ Oakland (short week on the road coming off his worst start, but up against a Raiders defense that's near the bottom of the league in most pass defense stats)
Cam @ Chicago (rough game throwing last week but made up for it with 11/71/1 on the ground which was his best rushing game since early 2015; Bears have been solid against the pass; Benjamin looking doubtful after re-aggravating his knee)

Tough call but I'd go with Reed and Engram. Shepard is back practicing but even if he plays I still think Engram will receive a lot of targets lined up at various spots. Even at home this is a horrible matchup for Hilton. Ramsey and Bouye are both very good. I expect a lot of passes to go Doyle's way in this game.
It's fair, But just not sure I can swap Freeman for kamara. Also, for the fantasy playoffs, I looked at schedule for Brees and see he has 3 dome games so don't need to worry about possible bad weather. Still thinking about it though.
I have Taylor, but Hundley, Fitz, McKown, and Goff may all be better options. Just need someone for this week and desperately need the win.

Nope, I would start a lot of receivers over him. He's not startable at all.
