I re-watched Sunday's game, admittedly after a few beers, and at one point in the fourth quarter, the camera panned to the sidelines. The camera showed Coach McAdoo, in his usual pre-play stance, with play sheet to mouth, and him obviously speaking. The camera immediately panned over to Sullivan, and he was standing there mute. The commentators were busy talking about nothing, and it appeared there was nothing to see. I couldn't help but wonder if Coach took over play calling when the game was all but over, or if Sully, had already relayed his desired play in.
As for my observation on Sunday: There will be a huge hole left on this team when Zac DeOssie, is gone. We are so lucky to have a perennial long snapper with his talent. He is also our most reliable ST'er, since his drafting, and one of the best tacklers on this team. I am getting old, I remember seeing his Dad at practice.
Yeah, or he was talking with Spags and Sullivan and discussing strategy...
Perhaps this week, we'll take the risk -- because we have to, or because Seattle may not expect it.
It's odd that he's so effective as a ST'er but hasn't been good in any other role.

off of play-action, but the situation was comfortable enough NOT to take a risk. Just like last year...

Running the ball and no turnovers they absolutely must
use the play action in a timely fashion hopefully early in the game critical we don't fall behind early .
