He came out of surgery and is sedated on a respirator. They have to do a cat scan for the stroke and an echo for the heart , both probably tomorrow.

They have no idea the extent of damage from the stroke or heart deal but he's stabilized for now.

He's fighting.

They are taking him for level 2 neurosurgery to remove part of his skull to relieve the pressure from the stroke swelling.

I am very, very upset.....keep fighting Taylor!

I had a minor stroke last December at age 56. It wiped out my speech and handwriting ability. I got off easy.

Me and a friend are going to go visit him in the hospital today. Apparently he had a good night with no complications. He's responding to basic commands which is always good. He still has a long way from being out of the woods so keep the prayers coming.

The doctor said that he should be dead. But he's a strong fighter and may actually survive this. What the long-term holds nobody knows but he's fighting.

He kicked his foot when we told him we were there and that we needed to watch the Giants together.
