Thursday Night Football - Raiders at Chiefs

Amari Cooper has finally awoken with 2 TD's in the first quarter, but the refs just nullified a KC forced fumble by calling a non-existent illegal contact penalty.

We are seeing almost every game one head-scratching call against the defensive backfields. It is pure madness.
1st TD catch by Cooper was massive

OPI, flag was thrown and picked up. Just another example of horrific officiating in the NFL today.

here. They are going to actually give the Raiders a 1st down, but it will be a 1st and 25. What I don't get is If the whistle blew, and it was a late hit, then both fouls should be post play.

Instead of 3rd and long, it is 1st and 25 at the same spot.

I only started watching in the 2nd quarter and saw 2 drops for what would've been around 70 yards.

He'd be pacing an absolutely massive night of his hands were better.

his rawness calling the games. He sounds very excited to call the games and is happy to have the job. He will only get better at it.

you'd hope that they don't start giving him all kinds of advice that just ends up changing him for the worse. IMO, that's what happened to Simms, a good analyst in his first couple of years that took a nose dive after.

My only complaint on Romo is he tends to get a bit *too* into it, sort of like Vasgersian in baseball. Let the big moments handle themselves, don't get too carried away.

ticky tack crap, especially the last one. The refs just inserted themselves into the game and decided which team was going to win.

Crabtree absolutely pushed off on that TD to get free. Should have been offensive PI on him again. All that said, the CB really did not play it right. Once you see the QB rolling out in your direction you need to take an underneath position on the WR.

With that defense. I guess Eric Berry was a monumental loss. If raiders don't miss two FGs last night they drop 40 on them.

I don't think Alex smith and the offensive weapons can overcome a defense giving up 30 a game to any decent offense
