candy corn is the worst halloween candy ever. Tootsie rolls are probably second on the list.

My favorite was the REGGIE BAR.

is a 'gateway candy' for little kids. It acts like kiddie crack for the under 6 demographic. They get sugared-up and act like crazed Munchkins. After the Candy Corn phase the kids graduate to the hard-stuff... Three Musketeers, Snickers, Nestle Crunch, etc.

3 musketeer sucks too.

The first one was some sort of hard plastic peanut butter I think, and the second ones were what you'd get if you crossed gummy bears with superglue.

This I know painfully well because I had a Irish ex-pat who worked for me that was basically addicted to them - you can still get Mars bars on Amazon directly from the UK, but the Snickers Almond Bar is supposed to be the direct replacement for it in this market.

I was in high school and no doubt a bit too old to be out collecting candy on halloween. A few friends and I ring the bell at a house where a woman in her 60s lived. She apparently forgot it was Halloween. I said.. well let's see what you have in the fridge and walked in. Found a new box of Entennman's chocolate frosted donuts. Said this would work...took the box and walked out. I still feel bad about it but getting 8 choc donuts was definitely the highlight of that day.

I realized how shafted we all are on this side of the pond.

Just bought 4 Clark bars at Cracker Barrel. They have them all the time

candy corn makes me violent

And no matter how awful the candy, it will ALWAYS disappear from the break room. The office is the endless pit where anything and everything you may not want will always find a home (or a stomach).

heath bar or almond joy. I'm good with the almonds... coconuts in my candy, not so much.

Snickers, reese's, twix, hershey bars (milk chocolate or almond) are the best though.

Terrible! Reese's and Milky Way are not far behind. Snickers remain the "go to" Halloween candy.
