Westbrook intentionally left his foot under Beasley, not allowing him to land. Everyone knows that I was surprised there was nothing said about it.
Still can not understand why Melo is not part of the Knicks. Its over now, but he wanted to stay with the Knicks. Now we are hearing about the Big 3 in OKC. Melo Westbrook, & George
Why couldn't it have been, Melo, KP and Hardaway?
Its ridiculous but its the Knicks way.
The organization needed to move on. He wasn't working and you got what you could for him. He's the type of player who's only motivation for the rest of his career will be trying to leech a ring and that's not happening right now for the Knicks.
The better question would be why Willie didn't see the court until garbage time at the end, or Frank didn't get a few more of Bakers minutes?
There's a part of me that didn't want to trade Melo too. I would have preferred the Knicks find a way to make it work here. Coach the team. Coach Melo...find a way to get the most out of the talents on this team even if they are a bit mis matched. OKC will find a way. Knicks just start over like always. Don't work with the talent just run him out of town. That's how we roll.
Melo won't be a problem in OKC at all yet he was holding the Knicks back. Funny how that works.

Melo is now a part of a good unit. Regarded as a big 3 in NBA terms. Knicks will find a scorer I guess.

I get it...I do...but that's just it...the Knicks always have to just move on.
Maybe once they figure out how to get the most out of an asset rather than dumping him. It's the same story every few years.
Knicks need to land a legend. KP is showing progress--he can at least be a component to a special team, maybe even THE component but they need more here.
For a guy with such superior, I mean, ridiculous over the top body control skills, and such a huge huge income, if true, what a dirty, low rent, P.O.S.
So I agree with you there.
#2. Now that you are all grown up, could you have a less silly handle? Please change your handle, your' BBI 'name'.

1) How the heck would everyone know that you were surprised?
2) Melo did NOT want to stay with the Knicks. Melo wanted to stay with his contract.
3) Why does it matter to you what you're hearing about?
The Knicks were not going to contend this year with or without Melo. It's better in the long run for them to be worse in the short term. Your take on this is completely misguided and myopic, and that's about as kind and respectful as I can be about it.
I challenge you that you can not find it! There was an injury to Beasley and the Proximate Cause of the injury is not readily available. He landed on Westbrook foot because he left it under his landing area.
You took the time to number a list.
As for Melo its dead, I like Beasley's game he is an unselfish player and talented.
You are useless if you cant back it up Gatorade
Thanks to Jackson giving him the no trade clause.

Hahaha I'm useless? See if you can guess how much sleep I'm going to lose over your opinion. Here's a hint - the answer is on the back of Westbrook's jersey.
Here's the video (it was incredibly easy to find, by the way - did you try using Google?). You can see pretty clearly that Beasley jumps way forward on his shot, and Westbrook has already turned and is about to push off his back foot to chase the rebound. There was absolutely nothing dirty about it.
It's not easy, but you're a solid contender for least valuable contributor. Keep up the great work.
"Proximate Cause" - ( New Window )
He left his foot in the landing area. That's the oldest cheapest trick in the book.
Beasley can be one of the Knicks big 3
lets do Porzingus,Beasley,Hardaway

Beasley is on a one-year deal. The Knicks don't have a "big 3" but even if they did, Beasley wouldn't be one of them. There's a reason why he's a journeyman.
As for your silly assertion about the "landing area," how is Westbrook responsible for knowing how far forward Beasley was going to jump? Westbrook wasn't even facing Beasley when he the latter starts to come down from the top of his jump.
Also, "Porzingis."
You located the video! Why is it on a replayed Loop?
If would not advise you to give me a dumb answer in return. You point of view will be regarded as unrealistic -
I still don't understand why Hardaway is on this team. An overpaid gunner who plays bad defense and doesn't create shots for anyone. Zero reason to have him on this team.

Westbrook is playing defense. He contested the shot and then turned to look for and chase down the rebound. There's only so much room you can give a shooter, especially if he's jumping forward by almost two feet in the process of his shot. Face it, this was not a dirty play by Westbrook - you're just wrong.
And the video is on a loop because the kid who posted it to YouTube decided to post it as a loop. It's not the Zapruder film.
Also there is a video loop of the play because he stood in Beasley's landing area. It was obvious.

You're fully ignoring the fact that Beasley jumped forward. Westbrook was moving AWAY from Beasley at the time, but his rear foot (that he was pushing off of) was still in place when Beasley landed. This wasn't a violation of some "code" that you keep referencing.
And the video is on a loop because some teenage kid posted it that way on YouTube. That's not difficult to figure out.
You do have a very active imagination - good for you.
In the case of Westbrook, he turned but left his foot in the landing area. He didn't clear the landing space.
IMO!

It's one thing when a defender steps into the space where a shooter may land; it's another when a shooter jumps into the area where a defender's foot is. You're wrong. Get over it.
Westbrook is playing defense.
As Knick fans, we are used to no defense so when I guy on the other team actually plays some D, it looks dirty to us.
