man they can skate. I see what Shero did here. They sort of are the junior Penguins. Of course they don't have Crosby and Malkin and aren't winning the cup real soon but if you make a careless play in your own zone man they can turn the puck up the ice real fast. Great to see Nico pot his first 2 last night. I had no doubts about the kid whatsoever he has been playing great but you didn't want it to be too long for before he got his first NHL goals.

Is getting it done Rolling 4 lines, without Boyle or Zajac.

My only concern is D depth, Lovejoy and Prout arent going to cut it(too damn slow), and Mueller is a work in progress, but still young enough, and was a very high draft pick.

The usual suspects have their mouths firmly shut, for obvious (and good) reason.

These aren't the Devils of old that relied on defense and physical play. This is a fast, attacking team. The defense is a concern as expected but Butcher has exceeded my wildest expectations. Schneider concerns me a bit. He has let in a few soft goals again which he struggled with last season. If he can return to his normal form then this team actually does have a shot at a playoff spot. The Stafford signing is looking like an absolute bargain so far. He is preforming like Stempniak did a couple of seasons ago. A 20+ goal season is not out of the question for him.
