Haven't watched much of them...Wentz looks like to be the real deal though when I do catch some highlights. Hard to care at 1-5 about other teams in the division when they're 5-1.
Getting some lucky bounces while flashing signs of brilliance. Could end up 11-5 but struggle mightily in the playoffs. I think they are clearly headed in the right direction. If they keep drafting well and Wentz doesn’t get hurt we could see them back to their early 2000’s level of competitiveness. Which will suck. Especially because it’s not Reed/Mcnabb anymore. These two may know how to get over the hump. Yuck
or translated mediocrity. They are good, but that much better than other NFC teams? No, not really. Could have lost to the Giants at home, but didnt. They are pretty good, but have seen nothing to lead me to believe they are the team to beat in the NFC. It's a crap shoot this year.
After week six they are the team to beat in the NFC Â
Additionally, Ertz has been uncoverable and their defense is playing very well. Lastly, Wentz appears to fit that offense well and is coming of age, so it appears. I’d have to say they currently look like the most complete team. With that said, either a good defensive play or a better punt, in the Eagles game, and we should have won, in Philly no less.
look at the record. Young, strong QB who can make every throw . He can extend and create with his legs and running ability . NFC favorite now with the injury to Rodgers . Very early but rather promising for the Trogs .

running ability and extending plays helps, and sometimes it hurts the QB alot...
Or using players that are on one year deals. Graham and Curry are near 30, Peters is 35 and Kelce is over 30. Lane Johnson is one PED from being gone. Jernigan on final year of contract, same for Jeffrey. Blount has some wear and tear, too. Philly has won 4 of their 5 games by less than a TD, sound familiar to a team.
I have no idea who the best team is in the NFC, but what I do know is that philly can be one of the worst and one of the best if you played the season over 100 times—that’s just the modern nfl, margins for victory are so slim. Shit, we could be 4-2

This is what I noticed. Wentz has been hit a lot this year. I'm curious to see if he holds up.
Makes their offense very complete.
(Yeah, Chris we know it's nothing compared to Philly, but still..)
i. e. At the end of the 2007 season the Giants were the best team in football. After two weeks many thought they were one of the worse.
Honestly , the product on the field across the board is not very good.
and peaking too soon.

They barely use him. They are kind of pissed here in Philly that he isn’t used more.

Yeah, let's see them in early December - Broncos then four road games in 5 at Cowboys, Seahawks, Giants and Rams.
They've built nice depth offensively, but their back 7 can be had.
Fly Eagles, fly, fly right into a fucking jet engine.

Very good OL, great additions to the WR Corp, and an excellent defensive front .. Wentz was the wildcard - and he’s going to be a stud
Short version: this season is a nightmare

I think they're on path for an early playoff exit, but who knows. I don't think they're quite ready yet to threaten a run.
There's still a lot of football to be played. Whomever gets hot down the stretch will rep the NFC.
Wentz, Blount, Ertz, Alshon, OL, Front 7 ... they are good. I don’t like it, but they are good - and Wentz is the real deal.
