NFT: Game 7 - Yankees vs Astros - 8:08p tonight FS1

B in ALB : 10/21/2017 2:05 pm
Last night was a clusterfuck. Some strikezone we witnessed. Awesome. But that's over now and we're right where we want to be. I'm ready to battle again and I'm sure you guys are too.

Game 7 for all the marbles. Still in good shape and facing a pitcher starting for the first time this series. But he'll be tough for sure. Gotta get into their bullpen and CC has to be CC. And the bats need to come alive again - this time in a very hostile environment.

We play today, we win today, das it.

LGY.

Disappointing finish
MookGiants : 10/21/2017 10:48 pm : link
but a great year.

Bring back Girardi next year.

Please get rid of Castro like tomorrow. Not a terrible player, but he still has zero plate discipline and just quite simply is easy to get out in the playoffs, just throw breaking balls down and away and you're good.

Cmon just get out of this inning
djm : 10/21/2017 10:48 pm : link
Please buckle down here drob. Four runs over two innings isn't insurmountable. Keep it here.

Kinda been a theme this year.

Sad but true.
Fans are more likely to post when things aren't going well....

My wife doesn't want to hear me bitch about a baseball game, that's why I'm here. I'm not ruminating over the game when the Yanks win.

Nothing wrong with that.
I want two more innings that aren't impossible
djm : 10/21/2017 10:50 pm : link
That's all I ask. Gimme two more innings where one big inning changes everything. That's all I ask.
Still could come back
UConn4523 : 10/21/2017 10:51 pm : link
but if not I don't know how anyone can be upset.
Houston has a good system too. We'll be battling them for years to

come.

I'm drunk and will be booted from bbi for this

But God, I sacrifice a Giants win tomorrow for a Yankees win tonight. Bye guys. lol
Girardi really looks tired

to me. He has looked that way to me for weeks, even before the playoffs. Pressure does funny things. It will be interesting to see if he's ready for more of New York.

I’d sacrifice the remainder of the Giants shitty season for a Yankee win tonight.

Said same thing. I think he is done here. Not by Yanks choice. I don't think he wants back. Can't blame him. 19 years is alot in NY

Maybe that's because your wife is actually smart enough to know that you wanting Girardi gone is as asinine as we do? We don't want to hear your whining either. Blaming Girardi is a stupid as it gets. And makes you come across as not very intelligent to be honest.
Very good drob

I got my wish. Now knock this mother fucking trash can of a bullpen's fucking block off!!! Cmon now!! This shit ain't over. Grind you mother fuckers grind!!!!! Make these fuckers earn it!! At the very least make them earn it! No easy at bats don't give away one fucking swing!!! Cmon now one rally one big inning one time!!!
Chapman pitches 8th and 9th?
Dave in PA : 10/21/2017 10:55 pm : link
Try to ensure no more runs or hold out on him a little longer in case tie it in 9th?
I feel some runs here

Torreyes
GentleGiant : 10/21/2017 10:56 pm : link
was such an important player on this team this year. Just odd that he never got a chance to play. Funny how Torre found ways to get Luis Soho into games during those championship years when he needed to move a runner or bunt but Joe can't figure out how to get Torreyes in.
Shut the fuck up with the girardi crap
djm : 10/21/2017 10:57 pm : link
It's game 7 fuckos!!!

Grind damnit!!!

Turds of a feather flock together.
5 outs left

Headley swings at one that almost hit his foot
smart move by the Astros
prdave73 : 10/21/2017 10:59 pm : link
Coach putting in McCullers. Close the door on the Yanks. Enough of Girardi, time to move on..
Chase Headley is so predictable
Dave in PA : 10/21/2017 11:00 pm : link
I appreciate him actually showing up a bit in this series but he’s a god awful baseball player
Headley is such TRASH

would it have killed
GentleGiant : 10/21/2017 11:00 pm : link
the Yankees to have Torreyes bat for Headley there. Just as a fresh face that probably hasn't been scouted? Who would criticize that move? Headley already shot his load this series.

Castro and Headley not filling out our 25 man next year. We need better plate discipline
you never see
GentleGiant : 10/21/2017 11:03 pm : link
batters appeal to first on a called swinging strike. Judge shoudl have on that first pitch
Joe Buck and John Smoltz
dpinzow : 10/21/2017 11:03 pm : link
just loved the Astros all series. They were biased too
Wow that was sad
BigBlue4You09 : 10/21/2017 11:04 pm : link
Same pitch 16 Times in a row?
14 curve balls in a row
B in ALB : 10/21/2017 11:04 pm : link
Well done. Holy fuck stains.

That's just awful.
Anemic.
bceagle05 : 10/21/2017 11:04 pm : link
Amazing we got this far with a group that can't touch breaking balls.
Horrible AB by Judge

Waste of an AB by Judge there

Joe Buck has all but admitted his goal is to have both fan bases hate him equally, because the opposite would be, you know, work.
Jesus christ
RasputinPrime : 10/21/2017 11:07 pm : link
Can we get someone on the payrol who can teach our hitters not to fucking hack at every CU they see? The Astros evolved and started throwing it and learned how not to chase it.
Looks like we'll get a boring World Series
dpinzow : 10/21/2017 11:07 pm : link
The Dodgers will beat the Astros in no more than 5. Pity, the Yanks would have given LA a much better series
What's up with you and pissing matches on the internet?
Jim in Hoboken : 10/21/2017 11:08 pm : link
You want to flash your diplomas and paychecks?

I am kidding of course.

You like Girardi, I don't. What's the big deal? Giradi is an average to above average manager, he's not in the top echelon. He's been here for a long time. A change is not that outrageous of an opinion.
Until we can recognize a curveball
KerrysFlask : 10/21/2017 11:09 pm : link
Let alone make contact with one...

This team is stuck in the mud.

We have to take the same step Houston took from last year to this year - ditch some of the hackers and get a few more contact hitters.
I'd rather watch flies fuck doggie style
djm : 10/21/2017 11:10 pm : link
Than watch a former national league team face off against the biggest dooshbag national league team of all time. I hope the series gets cancelled. No one of importance would care.
