Q: How has the Rams defense been able to be better before the bye week?

A: They play as a group. Even on film, watching them gang tackle. You don’t see that a lot on defense, but they play together. Their front four, to me, gets them going. They feed off each other. They have a great mindset. You just have to go in there and play physical with them.

Q: Is it hard to get back to running the ball efficiently against this kind of defense?

A: It’s just about us going in there on Sunday and playing for each other. They’re a great group of guys, but we have great guys on our team, too. So we can bring it to them, too. That physicality is on both sides of the ball. So we will see on Sunday, but we got respect for them, too, so it’s going to be a great matchup.

Q: How hard is it for you guys to have a revolving door on the offensive line?

A: The best thing we can do is play with each other like at practice, rotate in. Things happen. Guys go down. You just have to have a next man up mentality. I think the best thing for us is to have unity. I think we’ve done a great job at that as an offensive line and we’ve come together.

Q: Coming off the bye, was there anything specifically that you guys are trying to improve on?

A: Just for us, watching our mistakes. Watching the first half of our season and learning from that. Learning plays that we can finish and get better from it. I think that’s the mindset of the O-line. We need the mindset that we have to go 1-0. Finish every drive and don’t be denied.

Q: How tough is it to play against a guy like Aaron Donald?

A: He’s a great player. You can’t take anything from him. He’ll probably be a Hall of Fame guy one day. The only thing about him is, you have to play to his intensity. Match him in every way. He’s going to work and that’s the best thing for us. I think that’s going to be a great challenge for us, but the thing about us is we got to do whatever we have to do as a unit to get a win done. That’s the mindset of our team right now. Other than that, we’ll be ready Sunday.

Q: What’s the offensive line this week?

A: You got to see Sunday. What better feeling is it to see who is out there? That’s how I look at it.

Q: Who’s left?

A: We try not to worry about it. Those guys will be back. Right now, our five right now, we got them. We’ll be out there Sunday. We’re going to play as one. We’re going to go out there and work on getting a W and that’s it. That’s all we can do, all we can do.
