business winning this game. They continue to surprise for and expected lottery team. KP is not only excelling at the game but his confidence and leadership is a breath of fresh are. This team is growing before our eyes.
Several of our astute posters here predicted Charlotte would give us trouble on the boards...their guards would be tough to contain...Howard would be a handful...and all proved true
And yet, the Knicks had the chops to tighten up on defense in the 4th, shoot their way back into the game, and put them away, despite a couple weak possessions late.
Nkitilina’s 4th Q on offense was a mixed bag, but he brought his A game on defense again.
Great job by KP to overcome Howard essentially playing football against him down the stretch, and step out to drill the dagger 3 to put us ahead
4-1 homestand against some good teams...time to see if they can pull out games like this on the road
First time I've been pumped about the Knicks since 2013 - this is way better because a young superstar is at the heart of it all.
2013 team was way unlikable to me. This is the most excited I’ve been since 2004 when they finally ended their playoff drought.
In retrospect, maybe - but that season was fun while it was going on. It was an old team so there wasn't the "hope for the future" aspect, but there were some really good games that year.
We were hinging on too many old guys like Kidd, Wallace, KMart, Camby, etc, but that team won more games than any other Knick team had since 1997. It was enjoyable at the time.
This is much better because of Porzingis and the way the team is playing in general. No more watching Melo spend half the game playing iso ball.
Allow Dwight Howard to get away with what he does? The guy isn't even liked by anyone in the league and plays like this every game no matter the opponent. He doesn't actually play defense or box out. He just throws people out of the way. Plus I'm willing to bet he throws at least 4 or 5 cheap shots a game into your lower back.
Has KP missed a shot in crunch time this year yet? Â
On top of everything else he's so damn clutch! And his 4th quarter defense has been ridiculous the last two nights....guys don't even think about shooting when they get close to the rim.
on this team. He couldn't play defense last year, and his offensive game is horrendous. He can pass out of the post, but I don't think that is enough for him to deserve to take minutes away from Kanter or KOQ.

And on one third-quarter possession, KP had what appeared to be a open look at a 3 from the top. But he dished into the left corner to a MORE open Lee. Now, Lee missed the open 3. But right there was a indicator.
KP has learned plenty, including NOT to emulate Melo’s “me” game.
Guy is playing as well as anyone in this league.
Who'd have thought McBuckets and Thomas would be out there for crunch time.
If they help, kick it out.
Most fun watching this team in a generation!

Very exciting
Lance Thomas
KOQ
I think he's gonna be the most hated man on this team within a few days.

I kinda believe in Jeff. I don’t think he will let Noah wreck the chem. I think he’ll give Noah a leash and time. But not unlimited in either regard.
