I know we're all upset with this season and with the direction of the team since 2012... but over the long haul, we've had it pretty good as fans.
They played a lot of bad football during that span. With playing each division team twice I'm not so sure that's the best indicator of a good team as much as I assume Emlen'sGremlins meant to point out just how historically bad this team might be if they wouldn't do so this season.

Sure, but every team has. Even the Patriots. Obviously its not the only indicator of success... no one metric except SuperBowls is... but the point stands, we've had it pretty good... relatively speaking.
That does not mean we dont need to clean house - Reese and McAdoo both gotta go.

My point was since that "accomplishment" included the 20 span of horrible football the Giants went through it is not a reliable indicator of successful football, or having it "pretty good" for a fan.

That's easy for you to say, you weren't watching in a dorm room in Philadelphia with a bunch of Eagles fans when Herman Edwards picked up the bouncing ball and trotted into the end zone.
So, again....have we ever been swept by the NFC East?

And I expect our win or wins will be against Washington this year, they are always there for us when we are in need.
