Mental problems. That's really the only answer. I remember when he was hard knocks as a rookie. He had fumble problems in camp. The would mock the TE coach when he turned his back, etc... like a child. All he could do was giggle at himself like a school girl. He would roll his eyes and look away when coaches were talking to him. It was well known he didn't know the play book, and Tony didn't trust him. Great physical talent, but zero brains.
Waste

This guy has been been a waste ever since he's been in the league. Terrible attitude. Could have been one of the best.
He was a good one year rental for the Pats, he played hurt when Gronk was out of the lineup and contributed to that championship.....this was a guy who played behind Whitten and proved that he was a starter.....he showed potential for the Giants....if you want to knock him, you can't do it for his play or effort.....the guy wanted to make money, and he took advantage of his opportunities....The Giants couldn't afford him, and neither could the Pats......
He really sucked with us and then the bears. Jesus some of you guys sound like the ex boyfriend who got dumped. He isn’t a model athlete but to say he sucked or was overrated is crazy talk.

couldn't be counted on play by play with NYG, thus the low offer

to let him go gracefully.
did you come up with that? Reese was cap strapped, or he thought he could sign any gimoke to play the TE position...You do remember what his replacement did, don't you?
Cut - ( New Window )
Unfortunately the comments section of just about anything these days is "moron central".
Just click on any YouTube video on any subject.
Everyone - vested vet or not - must pass through waivers after the trade deadline.

Yet they could afford Dwayne Allen.
