What a slate of games!
Sparty vs. Buckeyes @ noon.
OSU vs. Iowa State @ noon.
Dawgs travel to Auburn to face the Tigers @ 3:30.
Badgers host the Hawkeyes @ 3:30.
'Bama @ Mississippi State @ 7.
TCU invades Norman @ 8.
And then, the big one IMO: the Irish @ Canes @ 8. I'm already counting down the seconds to kickoff. Go Irish!
Then when you are all fat and drunk crawl into bed at midnight for some sweet-sweet loving!!
PERFECT DAY!!!
not
cheesestakes
That was great.
Whatever happens after this point in the game, I'm very proud of Ash for having this team hang tough in a hostile environment
Nevermind, now PSU 7-6.
Captains Mike McGlinchey (68) and Quenton Nelson (56)

That’s pretty awesome. Shockey looks loaded haha
This is a good game.
In terms of draft stock he’s probably taken a little bit but he can build it back up towards the draft. In an opened up offense in the NFL he won’t always get a whole defense stacked at the line.
That said I’m not as high on him as Sy and others are.
Agreed the Irish should win handily, but these are kids, and frankly not used to being favorites such as this in a hostile environment. If they start fast though then I could see a blowout; otherwise, it might be nip and tuck all game.
What? You honestly think that they’d move Norte Dame down if Georgia loses? Haha. Wow. So Norte Dame beats a top 10 team on the road and they drop out of the top 4 because Georgia lost. Got it.

Nice! Being a big Giants fan probably helped too
Ridiculous. Notre Dame lost by 1 point on a field goal late. There is less than ZERO chance that Notre Dame drops in the rankings if they destroy Miami. None. Georgia laying an egg this week is on them, not Notre Dame. That game is already built into the rankings. That’s why Georgia is number 1. They WILL NOT move ND down based on what Georgia does.
1 TD loss on the road in the 2nd game of the year. Easy to leapfrog.
Think ND beat Miami (2 beat 1) next week BC beat ND. Miami ended up ranked ahead of ND despite being beaten late in the year by ND (1992 or 93??? cant remember).

How can they be ranked ahead of them, both with 1 loss? I don't see it. It will all be moot eventually, as Georgia will end up with at least 2 losses, allowing ND to leapfrog them. Top 4 might be Bama, Clemson, Wisconsin and winner of Ok-TCU.

ND beat FSU (that was the first college gameday road show). BC with Tom Coughlin and Glenn Foley at QB beat ND in South Bend the next week to cost ND a national championship. That was 1993

Same here. Giants picking Barkley would be a disaster.
