In the 1st half! 1 turnover. Looking to become the youngest player in NBA History with a triple double. Guy will be a superstar. Just watch the next 10 years.
Superstar? Based on what he has shown on an NBA court? That's a joke.
He may develop. Maybe. Maybe develop into a decent NBA player.
Right now? He sucks ass. Awful NBA player. A liability on both ends. His game is full of holes right now. So easy to attack him on defense. On offense, so easy for his guy to lay off him and help others.
But he may have a triple double! Great. He also has the worst offensive game of any NBA player in the league right now.
In the off season his shooting motion needs to be broken down and rebuilt again to correct the technique he’s using. That side motion and then release is a not something that can be used consistently against NBA defenders.
1. Off the dribble if he’s going left to right across the key for instance and he wants to spot up for a jump shot, he’s actually brining the ball towards the defender when he shoots it.
2. The motion is too mechanical, not smooth and is a slow release.
3. The extra motion means less margin for error, more can go wrong with it and cause more frequent shooting slumps than a shooter with a normal release.
19 points. 12 assists. 12 rebounds. Youngest player EVER to record a triple double in the NBA. But I'm wrong.
HAHAHAHHAHA.
Well, one game doesn't make you right. IT is one good game along a string of really bad ones. He is shooting terribly, even in the paint. Time will tell on him.
you watching the games or just looking at the stats??
Teams are daring him to shoot. They are giving him room for open shots and he's missing. Badly.
The Micheal Carter Williams parallel is close. He can dish assists and get some rebounds, but he can't consistently score because his shot isn't good. Ball is even worse than that.
He's a month into his career so he can get better - but I don't see him ever being anything close to a "star" player. He's going to have to turn into a hell of a playmaker because he sucks as a scorer. He's shooting like sub-30% from the field and his 3pt% is about one more bad game away from dropping under 20%.
His game is just ugly. I haven't been impressed at all.
He posted a triple double tonight - cool. It doesn't prove anything.
If you want to see a superstar in the making, watch the guy wearing #6 in New York city.
Just for comparisons sake - here are their per 36 minute numbers
Frank 8.4 points 9.1 assists 3.4 rebounds 2.8 steals
Ball 9.7 points 7.5 assists 7.0 rebounds 1.3 steals usage rate is 19.2
PER
Frank 8.5
Ball 8.9
Frank's shooting better than Ball as well.

If you think MC Williams is the comp for Ball, I don't know what to tell you. Get back to me at the end of the season with your apology.
that Stan, per usual is just trolling it up and talking out of his ass. Lonzo Ball looks extremely average to even below average. Especially considering you got him at #2.
If anyone remembers him. Not as much fun to watch as Jayson. But his inability to shoot limits his star potential, and if he doesn't play D, he won't win.

Tatum looks so much more polished and advanced. Ball looks like a bench a bench player at best
No problem guys. I'll save this thread for future reference Â
Agreed. Preferring Kuzma at this point.
A jumpshot can’t be taught, his passing and instincts can’t.

And there's plenty more where this came from. - ( New Window )
But he sucks, right.
LOL!

HAHAHAHHAHA.
34.4% in the paint (worst in NBA)
25.0% outside the paint (2nd-worst in NBA)

It's okay. It should be a familiar feeling by now.

Just like Michael Jordan turned the Bulls into a powerhouse his rookie season, right?

I've seen thicker legs hanging out the bottom of a bird nest.
He has not played well at all.
He has not played well at all.
Completely wrong. You'll(and are already starting)to see.

Stan feeling empowered just as his "Kei Igawa will be an all-time great" prediction is beginning to bear fruit.
You're saying that Stan is a less likeable Slade?
Kinna like the stuff I took when I said in 2008 Tiger would never win another Major. How'd that turn out?

Cool, you can put it in a folder with your RG3 material. Or did you already delete those doozies?
