Justin Pugh Out Sunday

Mr. Nickels : 11/15/2017 11:41 am
11/15:New York Giants left guard Justin Pugh (back) will be missing the team's Week 11 matchup against the Chiefs will a back injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. The injury may sideline Pugh for multiple weeks. This will no doubt be a hit to the Giants running game which has found some rhythm with Orleans Darkwa leading the way. This is just another hit to an already shaky situation in New York.
Eli in serious danger this week.

We need Pugh

for next year (yep we do) and this injury could keep his price tag down and interest elsewhere minimal. There are only so many holes that can be filled in an off season and Pugh coming back a a reasonable price would help a lot... Assuming he can remain healthy.
Didn't they already say he's out for a while

Well... his injury history could either keep his price tag down and/or give us 4 more years with a guy who'll probably miss as many games as he plays. Not good.

He was quoted saying his back keeps locking up. Based on personal experience, that sounds like an injured disc. They take a long time to heal.

Exactly and back injuries and NFL players don't generally mix and end well.

Not only do they take time to heal, but they're often recurring. The hits just keep coming with this dumpster fire shit show. Is there anything higher than a number one pick? If there is, we might get it.

He’s an UFA and we’ll have a brand new scheme. No difference between re-signing Pugh or anyone else. At this point he’ll probably get the Johnathan Hankins treatment in free agency.
Bye Bye

Justin. Hell his arms were too short anyway.
I'm 6'2, 220. Any chance

they'd sign me for a few games? Is the age thing -- 64 -- a problem?

Half a game - similar to the half effort he gave pass blocking on the play that caused Eli to bowl with the ball.

Pugh was not a top-10 pick.
Most overated guy on the team

Obviously the line needs upgrades but I would spend any monies on free agent OL. Tired of watching him get manhandled at the point of attack

Pugh is Good But
Samiam : 11/15/2017 10:15 pm : link
His versatility is very useful but the Giants can’t pay him close to what he wants because of injury concerns. Even if he came down in price substantially, I still have my doubts unless a very short term contract. The only year the Giants have had a good record is last year when they were healthy. Can’t stay with these guys who are often hurt

. Nothing personal but he can not ve relied on going forward.
If he takes a a show me type deal sure, but he is always hurt and we have a league worst o kibe with him,can have a league worst o line without him.

Will they trot out Hart again? If I were Eli I would complain to management, it is criminal to have Hart at RT
