"I could probably improve upon ... stop being lazy at the end of games or whatever," Jenkins said when asked on a teleconference to identify his biggest weakness.
Can argue he may not get back to his '16 level, but my gut is that he could. When everyone around you is making business decisions this year, he can do what he wants.
Jenkins is the Best CB we have had in many years. One game should not change that. The whole team has packed it in. They decided they didn't want to risk their future on a coach who does not care. For some reason this year the players have not bought in to McAdoo concepts. Maybe these are growing pains, but Jenkins and his teammates can play better.
Anybody recall the thread of “greatest giants corners all time. He was on everyone’s list last year now he’s the scapegoat for the shit season. It moved from Apple to Jenkins.
... Jenkins will play if the team is functional. Cut the guys that suck.
So you want players that...when the going gets tough they make business decisions...pout...do suspension worthy things...possibly tweet Josina?
I've said it often recently:
'18 is his OUT year...hes insuring his OUT by tanking.
They may feel that the issue, the outcome of games, has been taken out of their hands.
That may or may not be the case, but responding to that isn't the same as responding to typical, even very difficult, in game adversity, of the sort that they -can- controll, however hard.
Not sure if it's true. But for whole sale defiance there is usually a perception or reality of that sort.
Mishandled OBJ and now have players that do not want to play for the coach. These problems will need to be addressed by the new GM and coach with the support of the FO. Some of these players may not be part of the solution moving ahead in 2018.
However, he said it almost 2 years ago...not last week.

for the younger guys
Identifying your own weaknesses is something you can teach the younger guys.
Yeah...it's a great idea to infuse the roster with a losing mentality so the front office can proceed to whiff on the #1 pick.
We end up with a guy that is giving 100% on every play but is getting toasted for four quarters.
How’d you feel last season about him?

Jackrabbit is also a frigging 'on field genius' level player.
In addition to his ability to hippedy and hop, hop onto routes like nobody else,
....did anyone see him scoot into the DL very low and the exact right spot on a goal line stand a few games back?
Un-frigging heard of shit for a DB.
Wipe out the whole staff, get some salty old professionals who know they shiznit, and give the kid a one year contract.

We just need to find the right coaching staff.
This sounds similar to Umenyoura and whoever the defensive coach who replaced Spags. (Sorry for spelling).
Ut oh!
That last line got McNair in trouble;-).

I agree. Incredibly misleading.
