Coach McAdoo: We had a long, hard and honest meeting this morning...we had some open conversations and some hard talks...we played some film and were brutally honest with each other. #NYGiants

Seriously? You just had this type of meeting? Dumpster fire doesn't even begin to describe what this. Emotional intelligence just isn't there either.
I mean come on. Yes, it's too late and probably too little, but give the guy a break for at least doing SOMETHING.

savage physical violence
I don't think they are capable
hopefully this will wake up Jenkins Apple JPP to actually earn their salaries
Some positive news: check out this vid on Engram blocking. He’s going to be a stud for us.

This team is empty at WR, so nothing said really applies to those players. The Oline is missing its two best (I guess) players and has very few who can benefit from this now.
This talk would seem to be directed at the following:
1) The defense as a whole
2) JJ as his play and attitude have been splashed all over the papers, web etc.
3) Eli(s) both of them. One, because he just can't make stupid mistakes like last weeks fumble and the fact that McAdoo seems to not want him as his QB and Two Eli Apple who is a pathetic excuse for a First Rd Pick and a horrible teammate on the field.
4) JPP, LC, JC and DRC for basically being Jerseys and numbers only...
It is sad state of affairs for the Giants...
Final Score: KC 41, Giants 9
Definitely this!
This year Gase berated the whole offense basically after the Ravens game and called out specific people , then shipped off the best running back they had to philly. These moves showed who was in control and that their would be accountability from top, down. The moves might not work, but it wasn’t about that totally. It was about setting a tone for the organization. I feel McAdoo never did that.
That there now just getting around to a “let’s be honest and firm” about what’s going on is about 4 or 5 weeks late. If you already lost the locker room it’s genie out of the bottle, doesnt go back in.
This coach is not great at game day coaching, has questionable leadership skills at best, negligent leadership skills at worst. It’s too late, too much has happened already. His press conferences are laughable , his answers at times troubling to deeply concerning on a number of levels.
Sorry for the long post, it’s just frustrating to watch the team go up in flames and disgrace a piece of this great franchise.
This is exactly how I feel. I think meetings in the week can be great. I think the players can respond well to them and practice hard. I've seen week after week improvements to certain elements of our game.
What I also see is this team falling apart mid-game. Once they get behind, they get beaten badly.
What this team needs is this kind of leadership and reminder DURING THE GAME. Of course McAdoo hasn't figured that part out yet. He's been too busy looking at his play sheet to communicate mid-game with his players, even when it's clear that they need a kick in the pants, and a reminder that they're playing for their next job.
I wonder if McAdoo will ever learn this. He's not a rah-rah kind of guy, but if he's paying attention he's got to realize that players can get down during a game and need a lift, and right now whoever he's been counting on to give that lift isn't getting it done.
Then again, maybe he hasn't got a plan to respond to adversity during the game. Maybe he has no idea who is going to rally the troops.
Right now, all we know is it isn't happening consistently during the games and if he's a smart as advertised he should be figuring out exactly how he's going to address this behavior during the game, because something tells me this KC team is going to get us down at some point.

Are you saying Rosas will kick three FGs? That would mean he gets 5 or six tries. Not likely.

Maybe they score a TD in the last two minutes again , “in the two minute drill, showing grit,” then go for two and don’t convert it, so that would be one FG needed.
He didn't tweet it. I seriously doubt he even uses Twitter. The Giants tweeted it.
