The giants have no shot - therefore they will win

mattlawson : 11/16/2017 8:27 am
Anyone else going to place a wager?
either way it's all moot

and wins now hurt in April.
KC is too good
Giants86 : 11/16/2017 8:40 am : link
but I have a feeling it will be close.
Closer than people think.
AnnapolisMike : 11/16/2017 8:42 am : link
The win will come on Turkey Day against the Skins.
For whatever reason Denver looked unbeatable
mattlawson : 11/16/2017 8:52 am : link
This game has a similar tone to me. Everyone that I was texting with at the time about football knew my take. When everyone count them out they seem to win. Same could be true this week. Feels about right. I intend to make some money on it this week though
LOL
Emlen'sGremlins : 11/16/2017 8:55 am : link
The Chiefs are going to stomp us. Andy Reid has a long memory about his last time at MetLife when he was embarrassed in his final game with Philly.
Only hope :
annexOPR : 11/16/2017 9:00 am : link
KC doesn’t take this game seriously at all

Otherwise, blowout

Maybe bet this Giants with the point spread - hope for some garbage time TD or 2
Maybe because they looked
lecky : 11/16/2017 9:17 am : link
so good against the 49ers that is leading you to believe they are about to get hot. The better bet is can they hold Travis Kelce from getting a touchdown. Probably the only questionable facet of this game
No...
SFGFNCGiantsFan : 11/16/2017 9:21 am : link
This game will be a blowout. KC by 10 plus.
21 - 0

Before the Giants cross the 50 yard line

Never-mind about some old memory, Doesn't Reid have a ridiculous record after a bye? He something like 16-1 or something like that. The guy coming off a bye is money in the bank. I wouldn't wager against Reid. Tough week to put money on the Giants finding some pride.
Andy Reid off a bye doesn’t lose
Tuckrule : 11/16/2017 9:48 am : link
Giants may keep it close but they are not to wining. W
Agree
PaulN : 11/16/2017 9:59 am : link
That this will probably be a closer game then we all thought it would be, these players were now exposed, so they have to show up this week. Will it be enough, hard to say for sure but the Chiefs are a tough team to beat. I think the Giants will play well, but will probably come up short.

This Giant team is the worst team in football. This defense is awful with everyone trying. The offense is based 100% around Odell Beckham and in case you havent noticed he is not playing. You do not turn on a switch in sports and the light goes on. Whatever it is the damage is done and in all the years I have been watching sports I have never seen a team give up like this Giant team.
.....
Route 9 : 11/16/2017 10:11 am : link
No. Pretty idiotic thread actually. I'm tired of thinking they have a shot to even look decent this year. Like the Seattle game or the Los Angeles game (until 3rd and 33) or fuck even the 49er game, they kind of kept it close early on and gave you a chance to think something positive but then just didn't do anything offensively, or defensively. Which, means, guess what? ...you're going to lose.

Smith is going to run wild and do whatever he wants. If these garbage sorry excuses for a LB can't cover unknown tight ends from other teams, what makes you believe they're going to cover Kelce? Lol no. The Giants defensive line has been worthless getting pressure. I can see this being 49-3 or something. They won't win shit. If the Giants can keep it close, something is wrong with the Chiefs.

Giants lose big and we still have to suffer looking at Macadoof and the dumb ass arrogant look on his face.
Even if the Giants were healthy

there are too many favorable match ups for KC. They win easy
I had the same idea last night

6 out of the next 7 games
arniefez : 11/16/2017 10:21 am : link
will matter to the other team. Maybe 5 depending when Washington is eliminated. I'm sure the Giants will win whatever games are necessary to screw up the draft pick though. They did that in 2003. At this point I want Washington & Dallas to win every week. That's in the Giants long term best interest.
I disagree with the draft pick argument.
an_idol_mind : 11/16/2017 10:24 am : link
First, it's not like the team is guaranteed to turn things around with a high draft pick.

Second, I think trying to break the culture of losing that has taken over the team is as important, if not moreso, than draft order.

That said, I fully expect a 1-15 year from this team.

+1. Will root for a W but hope it doesn't happen.
Been 40 years since I felt this way...didn't like it then much either.
Zero chance

This team is cooked in every way possible. This is the worst season of Giants football I have ever endured and it's not even close. We are a literal laughing stock from our owner down to the shit players.

True. Almost guarantees the #3 spot, and maybe a W vs. AZ or someone else could drop us down to 5.
We know the Giants can screw up a wet dream.
Not a chance.
ZogZerg : 11/16/2017 10:59 am : link
A "win" for the Giants Sunday will be to keep the loss point differential under 20 points.
How many fans are now homeless,

giants cost me a 6 game parlay last week. Hit every game, but that one. I thought -1.5 was very generous to the niners. Then they blew us out. The Beathard led niners have been down right pathetic. We hit rock bottom
With JPP and Vernon providing intense pressure from the outside..
RottenApple : 11/16/2017 12:56 pm : link
forget it, Chief win by at least 3 TDs.
The Giants will keep their streak of allowing TEs to score.
Diver_Down : 11/16/2017 1:13 pm : link
The only difference is that Kelce will do it twice.
Andy Reed doesn't sound
idiotsavant : 11/16/2017 1:17 pm : link
Like he is in the mood to rest his starters right now exactly.
I mean. Besides belichik on high
idiotsavant : 11/16/2017 1:20 pm : link
There is a group of two or three that stand above the rest and Reed is one of them.

Doomed.
Special teams have "contributed" to a bunch of losses this year...
kinard : 11/16/2017 1:52 pm : link
... but this will be the week where they will be the unit primarily responsible for the loss. They are due for a complete collapse and the Chiefs are the perfect team to capitalize on Captain Quinn and his awful special teams.

I do have a nagging sense that the Giants somehow beat the Redskins on Thanksgiving...

with the exception of 2008 until the season was plaxicod, the giants were bad favorites and great underdogs - they tended to play down to bad teams and played up to good teams. this year, they are bad favorites and bad underdogs. they stink - and they are facing a motivated, well coached team. it won't be close.
I always root for the Giants
mrvax : 11/16/2017 3:13 pm : link
to win and make some great plays. Each loss has a nice consolation prize.
Just picked KC in my survivor pool

I take it you weren’t around for the late 70’s?

The ‘83 season was also brutal.
How much money you make?
