NFT: How's the Cirque Du Soleil show Varekai?

My mom is 70 and single, doesn't get out much so the wife amd we want
to get her out of her house and show her a good time. Varekai is coming to Syracuse but the reviews for this show are mixed. I've seen O and and one other show and loved it, but I'm hearing this one isn't super impressive and there's lots of lame comedy bits. Other reviews say it's great. She's never seen anything like Cirque I'm sure, but don't want to bring her to a lame show. Thoughts?

If she's never been to one she has no basis for comparison and will undoubtedly love it. I go to every show that comes to town, don't even read the reviews, and get the closest seats I that are available, makes a big difference. Plus they performers interact with you before the show if you are on the floor.

The acts tend to be pretty similar, with differing themes of varying success. Obv the acts are still impressive, but I've seen enough that it no longer interests me.

I will echo the above poster, it may/may not be the A+ Cirque, but if she's never been to one she'll enjoy it.

It was good. The music is probably the best part of the show. Definitely worth checking out.
