According to an article in the Star Ledger (I don’t know how to post it), the Mets have bought into a plan to keep their starting pitchers healthy. They’ll be copying the Dodgers and other teams by only letting their starters face opposition lineups twice (except DeGrom & Thor). The Mets plan to load up on their bullpen this winter.
Here’s the issue. They never discussed it with their new manager, Callaway, a former pitching coach. Callaway hadn’t seen the report and doesn’t agree with it. He has his own plan. Here we go.
Im done with this ownership group/front office

They should let fans bid on each game to be manager. Small market Mets need to raise money somehow.
Don't forget the NY Media loves to pound this team when the ship is sinking
"But if they're showing us that they can continue to go and they're strong, everything mechanically looks good, they're healthy and their stuff looks good, then they're going to pitch 12 innings if they can."

The Mets management/ownership deserves plenty of criticisms, and will deserve many more if they are thrifty this offseason, but this doesn't appear to be one of them.
If the 2 leaders are within 5% of each other, or the leader has less than 35% there will be a run-off between the top 2. If a run-off results in a tie the tiebreaker will be vote total in the previous poll, we will continue to "go back" in the polls until there is a clear leader.

P.S. don't stress too much if you feel player X deserves to be on this list vs. player Y. It's extremely unlikely someone not yet nominated would be win any given poll. Nominate those you see fit.

Minor would be ideal for the Mets and could be somewhat attractive option with a potential option to use him as a spot starter

Minor would be a good move. Hope the "report" is genuine and not just a reporter looking at the list of free agents and saying to himself, "Minor would be good for the Mets."
Unfortunately that's what a lot of "reports" are--pure fignments of the imagination.
yes.

If Desmond Lindsay ever gets healthy he will shoot right to the top
